My personal opinion is that we may well receive around £1/share, that is double tonight's closing price. This is an extraordinary short term opportunity for those with appropriate mettle. In the short term the price could go either way but we will receive more than 50p that is in my view a nailed on certainty whatever happens in the next few days. We will probably get another significant RNS next week.

Why release an Rns after hours on a friday!! Everyone knows that companys try and hide bad news on friday. The mm's marked us down over 7% on pitiful volume. That cant be a good sign can it? If the company was already in play we would have been moved up today , not down on any 'leaked' news surely !! This RNs seems more bizarre the more I think about it and I really dont know what to make of it. I am a very nervous investor about how low this might go on monday morning as PI's panic. I will hold firm as i was always in this for the long term but i must admit i am very nervous now about what might happen here after today. Still I dont think we will have to wait much longer to see the end game!!

The end is perhaps nearer than we think. it does appear a strange and a rather desperate RNS though imo. I hope i am wrong!!

Difficult to say what the market will make of it, personally one believes we may well already be in play and the potential suitor is not yet ready to be identified or needs more than 28 days for their DD. if everyone hold their nerve the reaction on Monday ought to be muted or positive. There is nothing new in this RNS other than MC officially putting up the For Sale sign, something he's alluded to many times but never made it formal. We will be sold or merged within 6 months.

I have held Condor and stuck with them for 5 yrs.
The sale board is well and truly hung out here. What now?

I am not sure what the reaction is likely to be on the next trading day though.

Not sure what the market will make of it. We are admitting that we will probably struggle to raise the required finance but are willing to look at selling or a jv.Nothing new really except possible increased worries over fibance

The RNS released today at 1800 hrs explains some very relevant facts about CNR and the current state of the market and hangs a for sale sign on the doors in my opinion. What do you make of it?

Some very interesting conversation threads on Condor at the moment, it's good to see some balance in views, both sides of the argument so to speak.

Worthy of mention is our 'poor' share price performance, on a 5 year basis, CNR shares are up 350% and the HUI index is down 76%, perhaps not so poor after all. On a year to date basis CNR are -20% and the HUI is -32%, again not that bad in comparison to others.

On a more specific basis we are due the interims this month and we will hopefully hear:

1) An update on the Land Purchase programme.
2) An update in regard to the EIA permit application.
3) An update on the exploration programme. For those interested in the detail, there are 9 concessions that comprise the La India Project, each one requires a separate drilling permit which will be no mean administrative feat.
Further to remarks about Real de la Cruz I've been doing a bit of work and note from mapping software that this concession is in a different Alcaldia (borough) than the others, could this borough be less familiar with mining concessions??
4) One is also looking for Structural Geology Reports and results of the Whittle Consulting Enterprise Optimisation work on the PFS and PEA. It'd be great to see these produce upbeat and positive results.

MC has made it quite clear there will be no more shares issued in 2015 and that we have sufficient cash to fund the company through this year.

On a speculative basis whilst we might think that we will have to wait for permits before a buyer appears, this is not necessarily the case. If a potential buyer gets comfortable with the significant progress being made on land acquisition and the EIA permit process following a site visit, meetings Government officials and DD, they don’t need to wait for permits to be issued or the completion of the land purchases

Reading some interesting articles on lse re land. Mc wants to pay 10% but some dont think that will be possible. Dont think we have the money to pay more than that without issuing more shares. Dont think that will be a sensible option at current price. Where are those supposed interested parties when you need them? Without permits for future drilling and more clarity on land this is not going anywhere and if we cant get the land ... well it doesnt bear thinking about does it!!

Well we have been unaffected by the recent China crisis which is something i suppose. Promised some news in September but doesnt look like we will be drilling this side of Xmas as some staff have been laid off. No news on land acquisition either. Time to go back to sleep!!

I thought that at first Jeanesy, but thinking about it, perhaps it was someone shuffling their ISAs around.

Chickens coming home to roost. U.S. data not good and too scared to increase int rates. Bad paper means safe haven gold rises and will keep on rising IMHO

The proactive video is telling us far more than the RNS put out the other day. I am more relaxed about the future but dont understand why none of it was put out in the RNS ?! poor pr imo.

A very realistic analysis I feel jeanesy.

Much better opportunities in the meantime in my view.

Well we have waited months for an RNS and then we get one. I must say it tells us nothing particularly new which is very disappointing. Soil sampling finished and still waiting for drilling permit.. no wonder the shareprice hasn't moved. The lack of posted here also tells us that PI'S are pretty bored with this story too. I am prepared to wait to see what happens but it is going to be a long wait I think before any sort of value is realised and only when land and permits are acquired.

Why Chinese devaluation is a magic catalyst for the gold price

It's too long to post here, but the article dated yesterday, is very bullish on gold and gives reasons why. An excellent read IMHO.

GREAT PROSPECTS AHEAD.

Keep adding ready for the upsurge

Condor Gold is advancing a 2.3 million oz project (La India) in Nicaragua. It has a feasibility study with a $110 million capex with cash costs at $700 per oz. That makes it a very economic project and their market cap is up to $54 million. They are currently obtaining their permits and doing the final feasibility study. They have $7 million in cash with no debt, so they are in good shape. The project has 10 bagger potential at higher gold prices, and if they find more gold on their 75,000 acre property, this stock could do very well long term. They only have 53 FD million shares, so the share price can be explosive.
