Perhaps an idea to copy here the announcement regarding the helicopter survey as a reminder? Published 22 May 2013
Gold making a nice recovery I see.

===========================

(''Condor'' or "the Company")
Helicopter geophysics survey commences on 280km2 La India Project, Nicaragua.
Condor (AIM:CNR), a gold exploration company focused on delineating a large commercial
reserve on its 100%-owned La India Project in Nicaragua, which hosts a CIM compliant Mineral
Resource of 2,375,000 oz gold at 4.6g/t, is pleased to announce that a helicopter aeromagnetic
and radiometric geophysical survey has commenced over the entire 280km² La India Project area.
The helicopter-borne aeromagnetic–radiometric survey is being undertaken on 100m spaced
survey lines at a nominal 30m ground clearance to provide high-resolution geophysical coverage
of the entire project area. The survey will collect approximately 3530 line-kilometres of data
comprising 296 survey lines flown at 100m line-spacing for 3200 line-kilometres, and 14
perpendicular control lines flown at 1000m spacing for a further 330 line-kilometres. The 100mspaced
survey lines are orientated at 030 degrees to optimise definition of the dominant regional
gold-mineralised structures.
The aeromagnetic data will be used to help map the surface and subsurface geology, providing
quantitative information on the distribution of some of the major rock units and better defining the
geological structures that host the gold mineralisation. Recently re-processed ground magnetic
survey data that was collected by a previous explorer in 2008 over an area of approximately 13km²
at the core of the project has demonstrated that there is sufficient magnetic contrast in the bedrock
to provide useful geological information and justify the regional aeromagnetic survey currently
underway. The radiometric survey will provide an entirely new type of data for the project area. It is
anticipated that the measurement of radioactive potassium in particular could be used to identify
zones of hydrothermal alteration for further exploration.
The geophysics will be combined with a high resolution satellite-derived digital terrain model
("DTM") that has been commissioned for collection as soon as cloud cover allows. Combined with
the geophysics this newly acquired regional data will form the starting point for regional targeting
and subsequent exploration within Condor's extensive concession holdings on the La India project,
including recently acquired concessions such as La Mojarra and the HEMCO-SRP-NS.
The results and interpretation of the helicopter-borne aeromagnetic–radiometric survey are due in
approximately 6 weeks, subject to flying conditions.

So what is the point in having one then ?

Why do folk go on about 'copter survey ?

They can only report encouraging signs; aerial surveys are reconnaissance which are certain to find anomalies and potential for urgent investigation

It has just struck me that why put out news about extending the drilling before the helicopter results are out , or do they they already know the results and have not yet told the market ??

Condor Gold (LON:CNR) also updated the market with encouraging news.
The Nicaragua-focused company is adding a further 5,500 metres to its recently completed 8,000-metre drilling programme on the planned open pit area portion of the La India Project, it revealed Tuesday.
The aim is to establish a 1mln-ounce resource in the higher-confidence indicated category ahead of the completion of the preliminary feasibility study.

Condor to extend drilling programme on open pit portion of Nicaragua project
By Ian Lyall July 09 2013, 7:34am Elsewhere on the project, a 5,486-metre drill programme has been completed to test remnant wall rock gold mineralisation in the historic America Mine, while it has also finished 2,321 metres of exploration work on Central Breccia Prospect.
Nicaragua-focused Condor Gold (LON:CNR) is adding a further 5,500 metres to its recently completed 8,000-metre drilling programme on the planned open pit area portion of the La India Project, it revealed Tuesday.
The aim is to establish a 1mln-ounce resource in the higher-confidence indicated category ahead of the completion of the preliminary feasibility study.
The current CIM compliant resource on the La India as a whole is 2.4mln ounces at a cut off of 4.6 grams per tonne.
Elsewhere on the project, a 5,486-metre drill programme has been completed to test remnant wall rock gold mineralisation in the historic America Mine, while it has also finished 2,321 metres of exploration work on Central Breccia Prospect.
The idea of the two programmes is to determine whether these areas could host small feeder pits to supplement the main La India open pit and also increase the size of the resource of the overall project.
Separately, Condor said SRK Consulting has completed "several visits" to La India and will be tasked with producing independent gold mineralized resource statements to NI 43-101 standards.
This will happen once all assay results are received for the three drilling programmes, and the geotechnical study required to determine the pit angles for the open pit, Condor said.
The best drilling results, meanwhile, revealed some fairly significant gold grades. The hanging wall at La India, for instance, returned 9.43 grams of the precious metal per tonne over 2.6 metres as well as 20.9 grams of silver.
The America Vein Set, meanwhile, produced a 1.8 metre intercept at 14.05 grams per tonne of gold and over 40 grams of silver.

From Jibbo on LSE

1. We are drilling with 5 drill rigs. There will be drill assay results roughly every 5-6 weeks. Great drill results would be very positive. We can expect five exploration updates in the next six months. The next one is imminent (I will be surprised if it is not this week). More than 17,000m already drilled this year the company is going flat out to prove up as many ounces (mainly in the Indicated category) as possible. A huge increase in Indicated ounces will substantially increase the value of La India District, which already is estimated to be over £5 per share.

2. The geotech drill results and analysis is due by the end of August. The geotech will increase the open pit resource used in the PEA of 800,000 oz gold by 25% to 50%. This should be very positive. The annual production from open pit would increase by a similar amount.

3. Once the infill drilling is completed on the La India set and the assays are back SRK will produce an independent resource update for the open pit.

4. Geophysics the results should be out any day now. This should demonstrate the likelihood of further epithermal veins being present within La India District.

5. Trenching results from Mestiza.

6. Interims by 31st Sept.

7. Metallurgical test results due out in Q4

8. Resource upgrade for the America vein set (currently 404,000 oz gold). This is still being drilled.

9. Maiden Resource for the Central Breccia. The drill programme should be nearly completed.

10. PFS out soon after the resource upgrades.

11. Sale of company, as planned, to a big producer?!

There will be plenty of news flow over the coming months and the chances are that it will all be very positive.

From the RNS on 22nd may 'The results and interpretation of the helicopter-borne aeromagnetic-radiometric survey are due in approximately 6 weeks, subject to flying conditions.'
6 weeks to the day was 3rd June, so 'approximately' could be any day now
