23/5/2013 19:39 | jeansey We have 6 weeks before drill results or helicopter results Where could the share price go in that time ? The chart below show a bearish fall still hugging the lower Bollinger band . No amount of ramping from certain posters will change the trend "fine words butter no parsnips " | ![]() saturdaygirl

23/5/2013 16:22 | re helicopter the reason for using a helicopter is that it can go 30m over the area which is far more accurate than a plane flying higher. thats marks reason for doing it this way! | ![]() haroldthegreat

23/5/2013 08:58 | Condor Gold fully funded for this year's heavy workload By John Harrington May 23 2013, 7:43am Sensitivity analysis shows that using a US$1,200 gold price and 50 degree pit angle may result in 1.23mln oz gold within the open pit extracted at a cash cost of US$702 per oz. Condor Gold (LON:CNR) has completed 80% of its 10,000 metre infill drilling programme at its La India open pit asset in Nicaragua. In its full year results it also revealed it has completed 1,700 metres (m) of geo-technical drilling on the open pit, while 4,000m of a 5,400m drilling programme has been completed on the America historic mine, aimed at proving a feeder pit, and 1,000m of a 2,000m drilling programme has been completed on the Central Breccia, aimed at proving a second feeder pit. The geo-technical drilling programme is designed to test the competency and strength of the host rock and determine the optimal pit angles for the La India open pit resource. The preliminary economic assessment (PEA) identified an open pit containing 800,000 ounces (oz) gold at a 40-42 degree pit angle, extractable at a cash cost of US$682 per oz. Sensitivity analysis on the pit slope angles has shown that by steepening the pit angles to 50 degrees, the cash costs to produce an 800,000 oz gold pit reduces by 18% to US$558 per oz due to lower strip ratios. However, there are some 500,000 oz of gold resource beneath the pit, so a maximised open pit would seek to drive the pit down as deep as possible while retaining strong economics. Sensitivity analysis shows that using a US$1,200 gold price and 50 degree pit angle may result in 1.23mln oz gold within the open pit extracted at a cash cost of US$702 per oz. A geo-technical report is expected in August 2013, which will help determine the pit angles of La India open pit. The strategy for this year is to move the La India project through to the pre-feasibility study (PFS) and Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) stages. The company said it is fully funded for the work planned over the next 12 months. The current drilling programme is focused on changing the production mix to as much open pit as possible, and the company speculated that the first four or five years of the life of mine could see all of the mining being done from an open pit. Under this scenario, future cash flow would finance underground development, which would have the desired effect of removing the upfront capital costs of underground development and increasing the internal rate of return. An objective for 2013 is to increase the open pit indicated resource from the current 554,000 oz gold to between 1.0mln and 1.3mln oz gold, which can then be used in a PFS and support open pit production of between 110,000 oz to 130,000 oz a year at over 3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold for the first five years of a 13 year mine life. Being an early stage mining company, Condor made an operating loss in 2012, of £3.26mln, versus an operating loss of £1.98mln the year before. At the end of the year the group has a net cash balance of £2.48mln, while its net assets increased in the year from £7.93mln to £12.78mln. Air head ..... blankety blank | usmcgs

22/5/2013 19:21 | Summary of today's RNS Condor Gold (LON:CNR) Update at La India Project The company are carrying out an aeromagnetic survey over their entire project area. The survey is planning to collect 3520 line-km of data at 100m line spacings and will be used to map the surface and subsurface geology. The company believe there is sufficient magnetic contrast in the bedrock to provide useful geological information. Conclusion: With a resource now in place the aeromag should provide information on other potential mineralisation in the project area. There is good potential for the discovery of repeating structures in this highly prospective gold district. Air head ..... 22/5/2013 11:15 | From Jibbo on LSE Ocean Comment Given the geological setting of Condor¹s La India project, an intensely faulted area in close proximity to a caldera complex that is pervasively covered by high grade gold veins, it is likely that Condor¹s large land package holds more high grade gold veins similar to the La India vein that have yet to be discovered. Flying the ground with geophysical tools is the first step in the search for untouched high grade veins. Given the previous success of the geophysical (albeit after recent re-analysis) we believe this airborne survey has a high probability of revealing more gold bearing veins. Finding another high grade gold vein similar to La India would be a major plus for Condor, especially if it is also amenable to open pit mining. That said, La India, as it stands, is an enviable project with a 2.4Moz resource at a robust average grade of 4.6g/t gold which includes many high grade areas of gold held within known high grade quartz veins that have previously supported mining operations. The contrast between the quartz veins and the country rock means that the veins are detectable on survey maps as long and narrow magnetic low anomalies. Radiometric tools will also be used to detect low grade radioactive potassium rich rock on surface which again will illustrate the contrast between different rock units on surface. While scree cover will obscure ground rock in areas of intense previous mining, surveying virgin ground areas untouched by artisanal workers may reveal a great deal about potential for hydrothermal alteration. Condor sits in an advantageous position compared to many of its junior exploration and development peers. The Company has a strong cash position, currently at £7m, which will allow it to sustain progress with its flagship La India mine project (based on the current resource) as well as carry out exploration work on the larger land package. | serious punter
22/5/2013 08:51 | Can't see this going bust with money in the bank (fully funded to bfs), so they will have to pay what it's worth or we go to production With resource upgrade and these results both not far off I can't see 50p. I see people jumping back in soon, in anticipation | usmcgs
22/5/2013 08:23 | Market continues to be unimpressed with news on this one. The only way this will rise is a takeover imo, and that is not an option with sentiment to goldies being so poor. Anyone wanting to takeover a miner will wait until it goes bust. I really can see it falling to 50p sadly. | jeanesy2
