Maybe if this chart plays out as a double bottom we may get some buying of the junior miners/explorers . The 2nd bottom being lower than the first .

I was hoping they would jump back in at £1.10ish :(
Bloody awful !!!

Any takeover now would be at a fraction I had hoped for!!

These things go in cycles. The price of gold has fallen. Gold miners fall. Uncomfortable I agree but not beyond redemption by a long way. Condor will recover...just can't say when.

Any concerns, email the Company. I did, and received a reply shortly thereafter.
I am not happy with the current sp, but, my view is that it will still make me money.

It is hard to see how this is going to turn around.nothing but good news recently and yet priced has halved in 4 months. Gold miners are well and truely out of favour. The only way out here will be a take over and the market does not seem to think this is going to happen. Not good, not good at all !!

This is a short term trend. Miners think long term, high gold grades, low costs and profitability....CNR can offer all 4.

Just reading the Lex column dated 26 April about gold miners....yes at my age I'm somewhat behind the curve. It makes pretty sobering reading. It criticises the lack of productivity of gold miners, failing to control costs and simply mining lower grade ore as the gold price increased. Now with the gold price stagnating, the chickens are coming home to roost as Goldcorp's return on equity falls to only 8% whilst that of Billiton is 25%and that of IBM is 30%.It concludes that it is "difficult to argue that gold miners are oversold" which is a pretty remarkable statement given that some gold explorers are some 90% of their 2011 peaks!Anyway,if some of the pits become uneconomic then the survivors will ultimately benefit .However, how long will that be.Meanwhile,Blackrock with the largest gold fund are attacking miners for failing to reward shareholders via distributions who are ploughing money into less profitable mines which I guess is what Lex is referencing to when it notes falling return on capital.

Looks like gold mines are being lambasted from all sides. The answer for sliding share prices is not stock specific as we all appreciate,it's all about a sector that has slowly but steadily fallen out of fashion and now irritatingly all and sundry are explaining to us why.Shame they weren't around a couple of years ago if its so obvious now, strangely I don't think circumstances have changed that much.

I know what you are saying...BUT much good news has come out over the past months...this, in my view, is now a sitting duck for takeover...

Where the share price is at now, is plainly ridiculous....crazy!!

How many times do you hear this on AIM bb's? How about 'crazily familiar, yet not as crazy as the 47p it reached 10 months ago'?

It looks like CNR simply aligning share price wise with all other battered junior gold stocks with absolutely no one spared. Chart looks terrible with 75p written all over it. Just need to keep the faith if invested becasue nothing has changed in terms of the business plan...

If this company is sitting on as much gold as we all suspect it is, then there are always going to be some shenanigans. Look at the infamous Rockhopper sudden drop of a few years ago for example. Games must be being played here....if it was anything more serious those in the know with management connections, would either have reduced or sold out. They certainly wouldn't have bought more at 160p and 130p range.Furthermore, the company would have had to RNS any price sensitive bad news. Finally, if you havn't sold, its probably too late now anyways...might aswell take the long term view and sit this out.

I concur with much of what you say.

I notice there is a trade gone through for 110k shares at 88p - perhaps that has been a worked sale over the last few days and the reasonfor the continued fall in the share price Where the share price is at now, is plainly ridiculous....crazy!!

Well ever since Dattels and gang got involved here, far from going better, the stock has gone easier. Then we had that canny little request from Regent Pacific that rather than pay 160p they'd like a discount which MC understandably refused.

I held Polo Resources, another Dattels vehicle some years back. That was fairly torturous, with the stock standing at an inexplicable discount to its component parts til the company sold its interest in Namibian uranium operations.Maybe Dattels isn't good for the share price maybe he tinkers like he did over the purchase of stock at 160p.He must have known that such a move would weaken the share price. Why create uncertainty by in effect questioning the then rating of the stock.

The value will out in the end but this now joins a disappointing list of stocks going in the direct opposite direction to the one I would have predicted.

PS I'm normally reluctant to point to shorting as an explanation for share price weakness but in this case, especially given sector moves,I reckon this stock is being shorted aggressively. The recent ratchet down in gold and sale of ETFs has winded gold bulls albeit bullion has recovered somewhat.Thing is who is shorting, makes you wonder does it not.
