01/2/2024 17:07 | But a gain, everybody is confusing asset sale and share price. If the asset is sold for the equivalent of 35p/share, deduct fees etc and you end up with a “special dividend” between 0 and 20 p/share | oldiegoldie
01/2/2024 16:50 | 888 is still in the 1 GBP camp I assume :-)) | oldiegoldie
01/2/2024 16:42 | Roughly double the average volume No great | book5
01/2/2024 16:28 | There is lots of gold in the hills The offers are probably too low to cover my investment Still, it has value Small directors bought a few at 15p without much conviction Imho That is the lowest this can go: 15p I would sign for 35p I believe JM's breaking point is around 22p Hopefully we settle for at least 30p. Gla | book5
01/2/2024 15:59 | Gold in the ground has considerable value and that is what is currently for sale. There seems to be some buying interest today with the volume now over 1 million from 42 trades. Currently Up 3.8% and looking likely to move up again with the buys at full offer 21p. | 888icb
01/2/2024 15:41 | 6 days ago: "Nicaragua produces more gold than any other nation in Central America. Companies like Mineros S.A. (TSX: MSA), Condor Gold (TSX: COG) and C Can someone explain to me how Condor have been capitalising on Nicaraga's resources. By my calculations we've spent millions and got naff all return so far. Not exactly Christmas is it ? | dexdringle
01/2/2024 15:31 | Brian Boomerang has made some positive comments too. As has Danny Discus. All the projectiles are aligning.... | dexdringle
01/2/2024 14:09 | Dominic Frisby has just released a positive view of this company | lasata
01/2/2024 10:59 | 100k x 3 trades this morning | book5
31/1/2024 13:19 | Calibre and others are prospering in Nicaragua and gold is the country’s number 1 source of income. | 888icb
31/1/2024 13:15 | Well, you don’t need to tell me that the guy who spent 41k on cookies for Marks & Mellons data room probably did not make the best financial decision of his life. Any “master” investor knows what gold companies want: “We have gold, which you need as the financial system will collapse, but in exchange we still happily take your USD cash” | oldiegoldie
31/1/2024 13:11 | And it is in Nicaragua Calibre and Mako doing ok | book5
31/1/2024 13:09 | Hm. CNR isn't an explorer though, it's a moribund basket case binary bet. | zangdook
31/1/2024 13:05 | As 888 correctly points out, the gold equity market becomes more interesting in the coming months, as inflation is likely to rise and interest rates likely to fall. I think that it is less crazy to spend 400k on 10 explorers than 40k on 1 explorer. The chances that your 40k are lost is around 95%, but the chances that 1 or 2 out of 10 make it is quite good. | oldiegoldie
31/1/2024 12:57 | perhaps 888 sold his sister | zangdook
31/1/2024 12:55 | 41k ok 41k in 10 explorers plenty of money for majority of mortals | book5
31/1/2024 12:55 | It was followed by a 100000 Buy. It is always positive to see investors making substantial purchases and CNR are a prime target if the gold equities market is about to hot up as is widely expected. | 888icb
31/1/2024 12:51 | 41k is petty money for some. I would not derive any insider knowledge or imminent breakthrough from a trade that seems crazy to you | oldiegoldie
31/1/2024 12:44 | Very Rich if this is one day in the office with £410k multigamble | book5
31/1/2024 12:33 | Rich people gambling. Probably the guy put 41k in 10 or 15 gold explorer, and 1-2 will make it | oldiegoldie
31/1/2024 12:29 | I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy or sell this at this point. | dexdringle
31/1/2024 12:16 | Someone paid £41k in a single trade I wonder what they know What return do they expect? 10%, 20%, 40% Whould they bother for a 10%? | book5
30/1/2024 13:49 | Og, I'm sure it's just that it has been so bloody long since the process began that 888 has forgotten what was being sold 🤣 | dexdringle
30/1/2024 12:58 | I suppose he's thinking there's some value in a stock market listing, and they have 100% of that...obviously the imaginary gold mine and rusty mill aren't attracting buyers so they may throw the listing in too. | zangdook
30/1/2024 12:21 | “This gives me increased confidence that CNR will be sold in the coming months at a good valuation which will be multiples of its current share price.” So you believe the whole company will be sold, and not the asset? What prompts you to this assumption? | oldiegoldie |
