20/12/2023 15:13 | On the one hand it is often said that the market does not lie; now we have not the market but simply morons. Well morons it is, I guess. | sharenotes
20/12/2023 15:04 | Sherwood - it is not. The answer to the question (which is by the way Value = Zero once La India is sold) underlines that what we currently see is unfounded market euphoria on thin volume. Some months ago we made a calculation that even if Mark gets his asking price and this would be paid out via a special dividend, this would correspond to roughly 10p / share. So 10p per share (or less, if the La India selling price is less) and some wothless offices, a SAG mill and a bit of exploration data. That’s it. There is absolutely no scenario where this can sustain 1GBP. It might peak because of morons that buy now, but the even greater morons are those that waste the chance of selling now | oldiegoldie
20/12/2023 14:56 | Dex, where the share price sits, price-wise, is a tad more simplex than the published buy to sell ratios, but I am sure you know that being a seasoned investor. Notwithstanding, there are astute traders now sitting on healthy gains made in a matter of days and I expect some serious profit taking in the run up to Christmas. If the share price does not fall accordingly, then buyers may be in the background. | sharenotes
20/12/2023 14:29 | OG, that is a pointless question. | sherwood58
20/12/2023 12:51 | 888 should get another hobby, like tobogganing | zangdook
20/12/2023 12:06 | <<<<< 888ICB 20 Dec '23 - 00:48 - 11973 of 11975 As you know full well those trades are from Monday evening one at 17.45 and the other 2 are both 525000 at exactly the same time 20.33. They are nothing to do with Tuesdays trading and don’t appear in the volume figures for Monday or Tuesday. You lot really should grow up >>>>> Okay genius, what are the totals of buys and sells for Monday, Tuesday and today (so far) and do buys outweigh sells to the extent that justifies a 40% increase in the share price? | dexdringle
20/12/2023 12:01 | Sherwood, easy question: what is the remaining value of the company once La India is sold? | oldiegoldie
20/12/2023 11:10 | It has ticked up twice today so far. Currently Up 2% at 25.75p on volume of 250000 with buys exceeding sells 10/1. | 888icb
20/12/2023 07:55 | OG, still waiting for your prediction of 12p ;) | sherwood58

19/12/2023 22:08 | Because they were rushed sells? Indeed a bit strange | oldiegoldie
19/12/2023 21:39 | What are the three trades totaling 1.5 million at 20.5p ? Way below the lowest bid price all day ? | dexdringle
19/12/2023 16:15 | The 100000 trades have been late reported by 1 hour and have been largely disposed of at a higher price by the time they are reported. They probably want you to think those large sells are dropping in now to encourage further sells as they need stock. Let’s see what happens as we move towards the close because it has been strong into the close on a number of days recently. | 888icb
19/12/2023 16:01 | Someone is dumping 100000 at a time for every few buys... | baldrick1
19/12/2023 15:30 | There aren’t more buys than sellers 411000 buys v 324000 sells. | 888icb
19/12/2023 15:28 | I have seen this go down with more buys than sells so I am not complaining at all. | connect5
19/12/2023 15:27 | Don't berate yourself unduly, hindsight is a wonderful thing. I also considered purchasing another 50k at £0.15p it would have taken my average down around 10%, but I was already 100k down and couldn't in any good conscience risk any more money. | connect5
19/12/2023 15:26 | Still, it makes no sense that there are more sells than buys and share price continues to go up. | baldrick1
19/12/2023 15:21 | They are late reporting the 100000 sell and have resold a lot of it at a higher price before its reported. Basically they need sales to fuel the rise as the mm’s have to have stock to sell. If there was more stock about the rise would most probably be greater. | 888icb
19/12/2023 15:19 | Eg ..two lots of 525000sold @20.50 one 475000@20.50 and several 100000sells..and still the share price goes up ??? | baldrick1
19/12/2023 15:16 | It’s the same pump and dump as the last 10 years. I wonder who on earth is buying now for 25p. Maybe Jim held another Master Investor event in a hospice? | oldiegoldie
19/12/2023 15:15 | For every little buys a large sell follows,..is there something to be wary about??? | baldrick1
19/12/2023 15:07 | Let's not get too excited. The share price is so far only back to where it was in August.... | dexdringle
19/12/2023 14:59 | <<<<< sharenotes 19 Dec '23 - 14:17 - 11955 of 11958 Dex, that’s a very interesting topic – AI is being more widely used in geological mapping/surveys, with some success I might add. >>>> Even better, maybe we could get AI to figure out whether we own 'all of the land' or just 'all of the land' ! | dexdringle
19/12/2023 14:52 | Gift at 15p... should have gone with my gut instinct and taken more. | sos100 |
