Condor's Twitter account is pretty dire but this one takes some beating: "It's the first full work-week of the new year and #CondorGold is prepared for anything in 2023!".

I wonder if they've considered the possibility of mining for gold ?

Like Dexdringle I also took up an additional 20000 in the open offer and excess to average down and hopefully reduce the probable loss. A bit more comfortable than several of you with an average buy now of 24.9p. - Should keep it`s head above 15p and if encouraged by the rising pog, we all hope a good bit more by the time any potential buyer comes along.

It is useful to look at the figures in the BFS released in September to see the effect of the rise in the gold price on value:
“ · An Internal Rate of Return ("IRR") of 23% and a post tax, post upfront capital cost NPV of US$86.9 million using a discount rate of 5% and price of US$1,600 oz gold (Mineral Reserve Case).

· An Internal Rate of Return ("IRR") of 43% and a post tax, post upfront capital cost NPV of US$205.2 million using a discount rate of 5% and price of US$2,000 oz gold.”
The rise in value is exponential.

Snake oil Jim should be troubled in sleeping. Probably a lot of people involved because of him and his promoting. Caveat emptor etc but nevertheless.

Imho To achieve that price We need the sanctions lifted before we sell
We may prolong the sell if we get a toll deal
Today I Read article saying Americans are not in negotiations with Nicaraguan government and are threatening with new sanctions including more in the gold industry (but not details were given) 🙁🙁
However it seems Europeans are negotiating
It seems there is a common effort from the west to negotiate with Nicaragua
China is investing in Nicaragua less than what Taiwan used to invest, so Nicaragua choose badly when they decided to drop Taiwan for China
Imho where possible China will try not to upset the usa
Currently the Main factor on the share price price are the sanctions

You have a six figure investment pot and it is all invested in CNR at around 50p a share?

Crikey. That's horrible. And I thought my position here was poor. I feel for you and am now hoping it comes good more for your benefit than for my own !

I was getting my average down so that, if these do come good and get back to, say, 30p, I can sell with reduced losses (I know - fuzzy logic).

So for 'rewarded' read 'reduced losses'.

My total investment here is now around £50k so only half of yours but still way too much and approaching 10% of my total portfolio which is ridiculous.

I thought about buying as well bit with six figures invested here already, I couldn't justify it. How come you did if you don't expect to be rewarded?

I'm at about 42p having (against my better judgement) taken part in the recent capital raise with another 20,000 shares.

Obviously, I'm not expecting to ever see that number....

Sher
I am down a very large % on my investment
All ok with yours?
should the directors be accountable and help us / company to make savings, or carry on drawing their large salaries at our expense as if nothing has happened?

If possible , receiving their salaries in shares, at a higher price, would show real confidence in the process and in what they claim (100 to 200 million sell), make savings, and possibly boost the share price in the short term.

Actions and not words is what we need

Book, the non-executive board members just oversee aspects of the company. They are not full time. Jim isn't even full time.

Well, they are all still present and correct on the Condor website:

PS you do know you can edit posts don't you ? Saves doing a second post to correct the first.
