I heard cnr prepared all for a tool mining agreement months back
If the memory serves me right they prepared :
-accommodation for workers of Subcontractors, making good a large house, with the idea of thinking about renting it?
-explotec did drawings for drilling explosions , probably for la mestiza, their engineers were working on the fields and at cnr offices
-at least some mestiza bushes trees above vein were cut
Calibre share price is suffering, we need calibre too.
Conditions have changed So now it would be a good time to resurrect any deal with Calibre, a tool deal would be great .
Before calibre had problems of capacity to transport ore from its satélite pits but last thing a heard is that capacity was increased by hiring extra capacity

perhaps you could use your "cold logic" to explain how the many contradictions in the company's announcements can be squared with your incorrigible optimism?

"There's gold in the ground therefore CNR's assets are very valuable" is not logic, it's either naivety or desperation.

book5 - Fully agreed re land - MC has totally fowled up here. However I am sure any of the 3 countries I mentioned would not be too concerned about land as they could back door the government to ensure land was available before they did the deal- You know what I mean!!

But to sell we need all land first
So if we don’t rise say 1.5 million to buy rest of land, it is either toll mining (in disadvantaged terms) or fire sale of shares through a broker

Sell to the Chinese - Russians or even the Iranians at scalpers prices. The US would scream to heaven but could not do anything about it and I suspect the Government would not put any objections in the way. Would like to twist Uncle Sam's tail.

Only question is would any of the above fork out more than 15p per share?

I think if the directors were intending to take up their allocation this would have been stated in the announcement ??

I think we should assume the worst in this respect.

What “IF” the rest of the directors would not buy a significant amount of new shares?
Would that impact the sp? Or would the market not mind?

Let’s speak about ifs?
What would JM do “IF” we can’t not raise the additional £3 million we require?
Where would he get cash from?
-Brokers at heavy discount, say at 10p + warrants
-Toll mining deal from la mestiza at advantageous rates for Calibre, say 50% split in profits. It seems than before JM opposed to this, however the mode at the momet is of survival. Also to set up a toll mining agreement could rise the share price and help to attract buyers?
- a combination of both
Perhaps we could sell some concessions rather than pay to keep them, the fees to keep concessions go up and up every year for the first 10years?

Moggy, my most favourite ethereal sprite of the forest. May I convey humble gratitude for shining a glittering ray of sunlight into my darkness. Your charm is so natural and devoted kindness so pure. A tribute too to the generations of genetic excellence that preceded you.

Moghan, my sweet delicately scented petal. Thank you for your observation which is both succinct and reflective of your erudite mind. Thankfully it is all part of the rich tapestry of life, and thus possibly a learning experience for me on the path to the great flowering wisdom and joy that only perfectly curated fragrances such as yourself possess.

Imho yes
Since 2020 cnr’s strategy changed to proof that if we lost la mestiza still made commercial sense to mine la india
Before that cnr most probably thought government would help us
Cnr was in a sea of doubts which prevented negotiating with the miners

Dexdringle,
Hilarious post (unintentional) about him receiving a flyer about an over 50's retirement home, how he couldn't afford the price or maintenance fees.

With your losses you should have retired years ago, when you had something left lol.
I can find you the name of a heating space in your area if you like old timer 🎅

So - they could have bought the land in 2020 (or before), but Mark Child didn't want to pay a fair price, so he held out, thinking the government would help him screw the people. Because of this delay, we didn't get the assets ready for sale until, oops, sanctions came along and (although they don't directly affect La India provided it stays with a non-government miner) made buyers nervous and reduced the market for Nicaraguan gold assets.

Something like that?

Almost certain we wil get the land for la India
But mc distorts the real picture on the ground about wages, and local working conditions within industrial mining. This soft lies is reaching to the miners But will not have consequences , this is not helpful for the local cnr managers.
Imho Mc is just a PR manager that causes problems of credibility. With his wages we could probably pay the entire local workforce, as a good ceo he should speak and act on this to save costs

Imho The last reason is probably true
Imho the Problems to which cnr reacted:
- that no cpo would be coming was apparent to cnr since last term 2020
-sanctions started 2022
- cnr changed direction at times due the above and preferred to lie rather than speak against the government.
