Egoi,

You think it will be placed at 2p or you know?

Nowt to do with sentiment, infact oil shares are the market leaders.

Placing at 2p when share price was 7p should tell people all they need to know about market valuation here. Time to get real. It's not hard.............

Thanks for your reply. Some useful points in there, particularly about restructuring the deal. You'd have thought that would be in the interest of both parties!

Dr Luv,

Not sure if there are any market imposed deadlines to be honest.

CDE trade on the OFEX, where they presumably fulfill all the regulatory requirements for that market, so no time limit there.

Not sure whether an application to join AIM has a date expiry, but if it does, I wonder what it is?

Pechora Energy MAY have other buyers circling, but I personally doubt it as they too would have to do DD, and that would take time, and money.

My guess is Pechora will wait for CDE, as they offer the most immediate chance of success.

I do wonder whether the Pechoara sale price could be reduced, and the deal restructured, so as to enable it to happen now, and those selling to benefit over the longer term.

With the price of oil at an all time high, the Pechora deal would be more compelling than ever I would have thought.

One week on and still nothing!

Presumabley there's a deadline for when they need to raise the money by or the purchase may not go ahead.

Anyone have any idea what these deadlines may be?

TIA

bobsa,

Quite, we awere quite unlucky I think, a couple of weeks earier before the sentiment changed and we would have been away IMO.

The move to AIM, and raising the cash are linked, you can't have one without the other!

I think they will get it away, but not sure if they are flexible on the issue price, and whether Pechora may be flexible to a reduction in asking price?

We shall have to wait and see, but CDE are still in there battling!

I don't think the move to Aim has anything to do with it. I believe they are having difficult raising the cash, and should huryr up and get an IPO out there.

I have about 15% of my portfolio in this, and am extremely worried that this deal my fall through. If only the market didn't get so shakey around the time of the original proposed IPO we would probably be alright.

I thought this share was meant to start going up, not down.

As we haven't heard any news yet, should we be worried, or is this quite usual for a share moving from OFEX to AIM.

TIA

Mickey,

I did last week, and they were still trying to close the book.

You may like to call and check the current status, VSA will not speak to non FSA regulated people.

Wouldn't it be better if they cut the placing price, more chance of it going ahead even though they would have to issue more shares?

hard work,

Agreed, it will be even harder to get away if the bid falls any more IMO.

I still like the company, but not sure what happens if they fail to raise the cash.

Nothing I'm afraid Mickey.

Bid is now below placing price. Feels like Chinese water torture - needs a concusion one way or the other asap.

No - they played it very much straight down the line. Even when pressed about the fact that the original date of 7th July had gone and there was no update, all they'd say is that nothing had materially changed since the last announcement and they were still fundraising.

Did they mention how far along the fundraising is?

Have phoned them - there'll not be any announcement until things have materially changed (either negative or positive)! Still raising funds
