15/7/2006 16:00 | Egoi, You think it will be placed at 2p or you know? | hard work
14/7/2006 22:18 | Nowt to do with sentiment, infact oil shares are the market leaders. Placing at 2p when share price was 7p should tell people all they need to know about market valuation here. Time to get real. It's not hard............. | egoi
14/7/2006 13:22 | Andy Thanks for your reply. Some useful points in there, particularly about restructuring the deal. You'd have thought that would be in the interest of both parties! Regards Dr Luv | dr luv
14/7/2006 12:56 | Dr Luv, Not sure if there are any market imposed deadlines to be honest. CDE trade on the OFEX, where they presumably fulfill all the regulatory requirements for that market, so no time limit there. Not sure whether an application to join AIM has a date expiry, but if it does, I wonder what it is? Pechora Energy MAY have other buyers circling, but I personally doubt it as they too would have to do DD, and that would take time, and money. My guess is Pechora will wait for CDE, as they offer the most immediate chance of success. I do wonder whether the Pechoara sale price could be reduced, and the deal restructured, so as to enable it to happen now, and those selling to benefit over the longer term. With the price of oil at an all time high, the Pechora deal would be more compelling than ever I would have thought. | andy
14/7/2006 12:22 | One week on and still nothing! Presumabley there's a deadline for when they need to raise the money by or the purchase may not go ahead. Anyone have any idea what these deadlines may be? TIA Dr Luv | dr luv
12/7/2006 21:05 | bobsa, Quite, we awere quite unlucky I think, a couple of weeks earier before the sentiment changed and we would have been away IMO. The move to AIM, and raising the cash are linked, you can't have one without the other! I think they will get it away, but not sure if they are flexible on the issue price, and whether Pechora may be flexible to a reduction in asking price? We shall have to wait and see, but CDE are still in there battling! | andy
12/7/2006 18:46 | Just maybe luv!............. Doc! | mickey take
12/7/2006 18:41 | Thanks for your comments guys, although with one positive and one negative, I'm not sure how I feel now!!!! May just prescribe my self a pill :-} Dr Luv | dr luv
12/7/2006 17:59 | I don't think the move to Aim has anything to do with it. I believe they are having difficult raising the cash, and should huryr up and get an IPO out there. I have about 15% of my portfolio in this, and am extremely worried that this deal my fall through. If only the market didn't get so shakey around the time of the original proposed IPO we would probably be alright. | bobsa
12/7/2006 17:35 | tricky one Dr. I think its just a case of holding and waiting...im not worries. i believe pechorra will come good, once on AIM no holding back. imHo :-) spread the Luv Lee$on | leesonlookalike
12/7/2006 16:53 | I thought this share was meant to start going up, not down. As we haven't heard any news yet, should we be worried, or is this quite usual for a share moving from OFEX to AIM. TIA Dr Luv | dr luv
12/7/2006 13:26 | Mickey, I did last week, and they were still trying to close the book. You may like to call and check the current status, VSA will not speak to non FSA regulated people. | andy
12/7/2006 13:18 | Anyone phoned the co? | mickey take
12/7/2006 12:57 | mujadid2, Not yet! | andy
12/7/2006 12:08 | Update: Concorde on AIM? | mujahid2
12/7/2006 11:20 | Wouldn't it be better if they cut the placing price, more chance of it going ahead even though they would have to issue more shares? | johnyee7
12/7/2006 09:11 | hard work, Agreed, it will be even harder to get away if the bid falls any more IMO. I still like the company, but not sure what happens if they fail to raise the cash. | andy
12/7/2006 09:02 | Nothing I'm afraid Mickey. Bid is now below placing price. Feels like Chinese water torture - needs a concusion one way or the other asap. | hard work
11/7/2006 14:52 | News Anyone? | mickey take
10/7/2006 15:16 | Wrong thread, sorry. | andy
10/7/2006 15:14 | hard work, Ok thanks. Quite a few IPO's have been pulled recently, so at least we are still in there battling! | andy
10/7/2006 15:09 | No - they played it very much straight down the line. Even when pressed about the fact that the original date of 7th July had gone and there was no update, all they'd say is that nothing had materially changed since the last announcement and they were still fundraising. | hard work
10/7/2006 15:01 | hard work, Did they mention how far along the fundraising is? | andy
10/7/2006 13:07 | Have phoned them - there'll not be any announcement until things have materially changed (either negative or positive)! Still raising funds | hard work |
