12/6/2006 23:23 | Don't be a wally Mujahid, the number of shares is irrelevant, it is the MC and EV which matters. | sranmal
12/6/2006 22:05 | Too many shares 700 million | mujahid2
12/6/2006 20:48 | My reply at the end of this thread may be of interest: For non-Fools, if the placing price is 5p, they'd need to issue 500M shares to raise £25M. They have approx 200M shares in issue at the moment. They're buying Pechora for approx $25M (£13.5M) so will have approx £11M cash left on transfer. 700M shares at a share price of 5p bid = MC of £35M with £11M cash. EV approx £24M. For that, you get 22 mmbbls P1/P2 reserves producing 250 bopd, 2 more wells to hook up, a rail terminal, a $100M debt facility and a top-notch management team. Looks good to me. DYOR though. | sranmal
12/6/2006 00:33 | moggey1970, Interesting, any chance you could forward me that email please? theyarenotgreen@hotm I would be happy with 5p personally, as we are unlikely to drop any more, and I was concerned it may have been less, due to current market conditions, and nothing to do with CDE or it's prospects. | andy
12/6/2006 00:24 | its 5p a share ive had e-mail from e-trade you must buy min 5ks worth | moggey1970
09/6/2006 16:52 | Andy Thanks for your reply. For some reason, I was thinking that we, as existing shareholders were going to have to stump up some extra funds! That's a relief. Maybe I should stick to my job rather than spending all day watching little blue lines go up and down. Kind regards Dr Luv | dr luv
09/6/2006 16:04 | CDE not the only one having trouble. . | johnyee7
09/6/2006 14:37 | Dr Luv, They are issuing new shares via a placing and this is part of the AIM admission. Existing retail shareholders cannot participate in the placing, which is institutions only. We currently do no know the price of the new shares, nor obviously, the amount of dilution. CDE cannot transfer from OFEX to AIM until the Pechora deal is done due to the new market regulations re cash shells on AIM. | andy
09/6/2006 14:33 | At the risk of me sounding incredibly dim, will the current holders of CDE shares have to pay anymore as a result of the placing or is it purely the issue of additional shares into the market place (therefore diluting the price)? I'm sure this would have been mentioned somewhere along the way, but I seem to have missed it, or I'm incredibly stupid. Possibly both! Thanks in advance. Dr Luv | dr luv
09/6/2006 13:51 | ok! Better to stay under the radar for the moment I think! | andy
09/6/2006 12:58 | Andy - did not mean to confuse, I was referring to this post below. Good luck to you as well. Andy - 6 Jun'06 - 16:02 - 1273 of 1278 wassaper, Shhhhhh! Don't tempt fate! | wassapper
09/6/2006 00:25 | Wassaper, LOL! I think everyone is stunned by the general market malaise personally, and CDE has become just another victim. In fact last week's Shares magazine had half a page dedicated to the problems associated with IPO's and placings at the moment, and I felt better after reading it to be honest. Then we have seen BRM IPO at 50p this week, and plunge to 25p at it's lowest point! I still say CDE have been unlucky, three weeks before and we would have been ok. I still hold all mine, and I wonder what price people are being quoted to sell? "safe to come out now?", who knows? DOW finished positive, but only just, we shall see tomorrow. Good luck all holders! | andy
07/6/2006 21:49 | Andy - that one worked. No-one said a thing all day! | wassapper
