wassaper, agree, the cats out the bag now with this one. Blind buying, pure speculation, but can be very rewarding. Its spotting them b4 the crowd. The crowd are onto this now. I can wait.

Cheers wassapper. This stock is ideal then beacuse of their stated intention to move to AIM in the near term, which should solve (most) liquidity problems.

Those of you new to Ofex stocks will realise how illiquid they can be. Buying at present is difficult. Just you try to sell too many. I agree sranmal that we may see drift, however, the illiquidty generally stops that unless there is a real bail out. If you sell you just drive the price down devaluing the remainder of your holding significantly. Not worth the hassle in my opinion and I have been involved with Ofex for over five years.

Agreed, may see a period of consolidation or slight profit-taking by the bored now. They'll have to issue a prospectus prior to the move to the AIM, but also allow enough time for the DD to be completed by PWC and the CPR to be written and analysed by themselves - plenty to keep them busy I suspect.

I'D expect the price to stay at these levels now moving up when we get to march when the move to aim happens .Would expect fundraising news to be out with the move to aim but you can never tell with these shares any positive newsflow will send them on a run again

Have a read through yesterday's posts (not too many!) by shrewd, me and zengas and consider:

- the background of the people involved, including the projects they were involved in and their FSU experience, and

- the size of their potential acquisitions and aim to be producers/near-term producers.

Take a 12M view and there is potentially much more to come. One for the patient though, and not without its risks (although what is).

CGT rules for OFEX companies are same as AIM shares, 40% to 20% to 10% after 2 years.

Texaco chaps with their experience aren't looking for a tiddly size field.
The professor - ex chief at Gazproms research arm and also director at the Ministry of Natural Resources will just about know every possible field and undeveloped, though researched licence parcel in Russia and has got a million shares options as his sweetener for starters.

Iec 25p float to current £5.75 and further major upside.(The usual suspects were querying why they could only float at 25p - jeez) and £2.50 within less than 10 months.
Vog 23p float (from memory) to current £2.35. Both have substantial growth ahead of them. While nothing is ever certain, there is one aspect here and that is a number of top people at the helm with great experience, connections and credentials. Should be developments by 1st March (5 weeks)if not before.
