Thanks Hard Work. I may have to check out Etrade, are they generally good? Will be interesting to see how much they raise for this aquisition.

As a long term holder I'm more interested in what the price will do 2-5 years down the line, saying that,I don't mind the recent rise in price considering I hold about 1% of the shares at an average of 2.5p.The rise should continue when they move to aim in march,I hope.

Stuart - Etrade sent the offer to me and I took a punt. The story looked good, the management seem credible, they've delivered on everything they've said they would do...the deals are about to be closed.

My only question then would be have they got the managerial skills to run the operations rather than just doing the deals.

Currypasty - I did :-))

Well - nearly there! Initial minimum investment of £1500 now approaching £15k. Not bad for 4 months work. Wonder if this will trigger any sales?

If it carries on like this tomorrow, we'll have a ten bagger from issue price!

Rocketing! Well done!

When you guys move on (or if you are looking for an extra ofex gas play) perhaps you could try HEP, with a fifth of the market cap and a huge gas find already to their name.

jonny7,

took 200k friday and had to pay 5.5p to get them.

sranmal put me onto this and mark my words there are some well respected investors building stakes here.

the similarities to iec are huge. main reason for being here.

I think IEC are paying about $1/bbl to increase their ownership of their subsidiaries to 100% partly in shares, plus their paper is highly valued so dilution is minimal.

Hard Work

You are right. Reserves are being sold in Russia at much higher than previously these last 6 to 9 months. Gazprom paid between over $3.5/bbl for Sibneft on a P90 basis

However I am hoping that for smaller fields belonging to small Russian Independants that the sale price to Concorde will be less. Imperial Energy seem to be paying low(er) valuations for their recent purchases.

I still reckon this could be a quick 3 bagger.

For a CDE quote or to see the trades, use OFEX:CDE as the ticker rather than LSE:CDE.

goody15,

I don't think you will be bale to bring up CDE on level 2 as Concorde because another company already has that ticker.

You can see the most recent 5 historical trades on the OFEX website.

johnyee7,

I managed a modest top up this afternoon, with my monthly drip feed from the salary, so there is some stock, albeit in smaller trade size.

The speed of the ascent here is great on the one hand, but on the otherhand I was going to buy more, but am waiting upon other stocks to move, so not as many free funds, so I wasn't able to buy as many as I would like.
