boring is ok, you can view it as consolidation before the next leg up. Aren't we due some general update (if last year is anything to go by) in Sept - not that that's an official timed RNS, but perhaps with an update re: strategy/new money is overdue.

It could be people are waking up to the fact that they have got a potential great investment in Ve Interactive and that this is the only way at present for investors to get exposure to this private company.

solarno - interesting concept, not quite sure how a price would be determined given CHA price movement is independent of VE valuation (unless the sole purpose of CHA was to become a vehicle to dispose of your VE shares in which case they could well be some correlation.

I'd like to think that VE will engage further with CHA, but at the moment I'm not convinced the CHA investment is anything more than a means to keep us listed as an investment vehicle.

Concha could issue shares to current holders in VE.

It gives Concha an increased holding in VE without having to use or raise cash. It gives VE holders a marketable share which they can choose to hold or sell.

£4m is small beer for a company valued at $1bn. I want to see how they plan to create a market for their shares.

Ve Interactive said of Concha stake acquisition:
"This investment marks the first stage of creating a secondary market as the Company aims to launch a wider programme for all shareholders this summer. The initiative will enable the Company to consolidate and optimise its shareholder base. Ve will retain full approval and registration rights over this process."

..summer is pretty much up and still no update from the company on how they plan to facilitate a 'wider programme for all shareholders'

admittedly it doesn't sound like 'coming to market' talk, but consolidate and optimise shareholder base suggests like private individuals being able to sell out somehow to corporate entities
