solarno lopez: Ever since Akers and his chums fell out big style which led to a deal and the share price being complete screwed
solarno lopez: For some considerable time someone or a group have been buying in lumps of 1 m to 3m without really disturbing the share price. Such activity is completely the opposite of last year when the price was being pushed ever higher by large buys which should have prompted the usual announcement ...we know of reason for the increase in the share price. The announcement never came because it would have been a lie ! So are the 'guys' acting cautiously this time around head of a deal. I think they are !
master rsi: From the "UPS" thread ......... Master RSI 28 Sep '16 - 09:00 - 459 of 459 CHA 1.075p = Has been moving up and down this morning as some get in on the good charting and after yesterday's BREAKOUT, and others take profit after the last couple day rise. The speculation relating to CHA share movement is ... VE is due for AGM next Tuesday and rumours of fund raising stock at around £1000 per share, that's 400% on Concha's original investment
dusseldorf: solarno - interesting concept, not quite sure how a price would be determined given CHA price movement is independent of VE valuation (unless the sole purpose of CHA was to become a vehicle to dispose of your VE shares in which case they could well be some correlation. I'd like to think that VE will engage further with CHA, but at the moment I'm not convinced the CHA investment is anything more than a means to keep us listed as an investment vehicle.
shareho1der: Its funny people only comment here when the share price is going up.I am wondering what people here have to say nowadays.
swizz: You can read a fair bit in to the paragraph below IMHO.....GL S A snippet from today's interim report "The business has yet to secure development funding from either venture capital or private equity markets. As such we see Ve as being ideally suited to public markets at some point either subsequent to or simultaneously with a more traditional equity backed fundraising led by an established banking institution. The Board, having met with certain of its key supportive shareholders such as Andrew Black and Nigel Wray are therefore delighted that Concha has been able to secure an early engagement in what it believes will be an exciting chapter in V's development."
bozzy_s: Well that happened a bit sooner than expected. Wish I had followed my instincts (and Motley Fool's) and shorted these from £50m. Just couldn't see why on earth ~£5m of cash was valued at £50m by the market. The stupidly high share price, over such a long period of time, meant there was the risk of a blockbuster deal to be announced, where CHA might become worth multiples of it's cash pile. Fair value now would be 75% - 100% of the remaining cash. FY results need to be released this month, and will show the cash balance as of 30/6/15. Maybe the company will also announce today's cash balance. I'd guess £5m, being £5.7m (latest balance sheet date 31/3/15) minus 9 months of overheads, plus interest receivable. So I reckon a fair valuation today is around 0.25 - 0.35 pence per share.
master rsi: From the "UPS" thread ......... re - FT delisting Its just rumours from the shorters is my view, in order to create this conspiracy of uncertainty and bring the share price down, They try it many times before by (FAT boy mainly with associates ) but it seems they did managed this time as plenty of things were on their side, the long time it takes to finalize the deal, the share price was moving lower, and the markets are in a mess just now. The FT comment was just saying the reason that was going around for the large drop on the share price during the week ---------------------- The Financial Times 09:1 Bryce Elder Small-cap Week, December 12 Concha, an investment shell company that was the London market’s biggest gainer of 2014, suffered a 53.1 per cent share price fall amid speculation that it might be delisted. According to the company, it is still in talks about “a specific global opportunity within its investment scope”.

cuthbert cuthbertson senior: Could be possible that Akers is after teasing ali BABA to buy concha which would validate in my opinion the high share price of CONCHA. cc
