Further update re - Ve Interactive Limited

Concha (AIM: CHA) notes, further to the announcement made on 26 January 2018, the publication of a judgment by the High Court dated 8 February 2018 relating to a claim brought by certain creditors of Ve Interactive Limited ("Ve") against the administrators of Ve, which sets out the Court's decision to remove and replace the administrators and the rationale for that decision. Concha notes with interest the contents of the judgment in the matters surrounding both the appointment of administrators to Ve and the subsequent sale of the business and assets of Ve to Rowchester Limited. Your Board is encouraged by the decision to remove the administrators and the concerns raised by the Court over their actions during the term of their engagement.

Concha will review its position in the light of this judgement and provide a further update when it is appropriate to do so. At present, your Board does not propose any change to the carrying value of the Company's investment in Ve.

Comedy, CHA has had its day. Where were you when the share price ran up to 7p?. You are too late to the party, mate. I have made good money on this share in 2014,.

Interesting as CHA try to rebuild the company with concerns it may end up as an AIM Investment Outfit. A move into lending with an option of shares in OcaDO does look good in the online housing sector.

' Concha (AIM:CHA), the AIM listed investment company is pleased to announce that it has agreed to participate GBP175,000 in a facility to advance GBP250,000 by way of secured convertible loan notes ("Loan Notes") being used by TheBuyerpool Limited which trades as UcaDO ("UcaDO").

UcaDO has developed a proprietary platform to facilitate the free listing of both owned and rented, residential and commercial property, by property owners and landlords to prospective buyers and tenants alike.
UcaDO has not yet filed accounts so there are no profits/losses or assets which can be disclosed.'

UcaDO - New website not launched yet.

UcaDO on Twitter - up and running

UcaDO is the must-have property app which does not require an agent! Free to List - Free to Use. The future of selling and buying properties is UcaDO

Thinking of selling or letting your house but don't want to have to pay to do it? Then do it on UcaDO for FREE! #property #ThursdayThoughts

In addition to the provision of funding, the consortium has also sought to introduce a number of experienced executives to steward the business through this period of transition.
The introduction of a new CEO and interim Chairman, together with a professional multi-disciplined team will supplement the existing talent present within the business.
Over the course of the next three months, this new team intends to commence and conclude a process of re-organisation, rationalisation and revenue growth, the latter resulting from a number of identified revenue opportunities which will allow Ve's portfolio of offerings, including the optimisation of its mobile browsing services to improve both market share and yield.
Significant reductions to its operating cost base will see the business exit from smaller markets, centralise its global finance function and drive growth from three core geographical hubs (EMEA, Americas and Asia) which in combination will support the new management team's plans to secure a position of being cash break-even by the end of 2017.

@DDS_DocHoliday appreciate your frustration and we are working hard behind the scenes on other deals to get CHA moving again

Good spot The Shuffle Man. This bit is confirmation of what we suspected:

Ve’s last investment round valued it at $2.7 billion, making it a unicorn company – a tech start-up with a $1 billion price tag.

It values (pre dilution of new equity in Ve), CHA's stake at £8-9m. If it goes for a e.g. $5bn float in US with no further equity CHA's stake could be worth in region of £13-15m, or 0.9p/share in CHA.

Not sure how CHA could extend the relationship in this IPO in US perhaps it was the intended end game for CHA's involvement in Ve.

For some considerable time someone or a group have been buying in lumps of 1 m to 3m without really disturbing the share price.

Such activity is completely the opposite of last year when the price was being pushed ever higher by large buys which should have prompted the usual announcement ...we know of reason for the increase in the share price. The announcement never came because it would have been a lie !

So are the 'guys' acting cautiously this time around head of a deal.

I think they are !

solarno - interesting concept, not quite sure how a price would be determined given CHA price movement is independent of VE valuation (unless the sole purpose of CHA was to become a vehicle to dispose of your VE shares in which case they could well be some correlation.

I'd like to think that VE will engage further with CHA, but at the moment I'm not convinced the CHA investment is anything more than a means to keep us listed as an investment vehicle.
