18/9/2019 11:02 | No, I am long only. H | sutherlh
18/9/2019 08:16 | Have you placed a short to align with your prediction? If not, why not? I am curious. | insideryou
17/9/2019 17:24 | Yes, I have 2 lots of ccc shares, one investment lot which I rarely sell and another lot for trading, roughly 50/50. I sold the trading lot after the spike to 1500, got 1450. Both these back last week for around 1320. Sold these trading lot this week for 1295 average. Don,t like the chart, although love the fundamentals. I don,t think ccc will hit 1100 although to me the head and shoulders indicates this. I do think 1200 is a realistic expectation before the end of October. H | sutherlh
17/9/2019 17:11 | You sold out? That's interesting. I don't see ccc getting anywhere near 1100 unless the markets take a giant dump. | insideryou
17/9/2019 15:06 | Softcat’s customers tend to be smaller companies compared to ccc. Maybe there is a concern about ccc customer larger and more international base and brexit, although I thought ccc was pretty brexit proof. Maybe a sell on the news after a big jump, the expectation of great results in October leaves no room for error. The head and shoulders on the chart I thinks points to a share price of around 1100. I bought the half of shares I sold back after the jump, at the beginning of last week and sold them at a loss yesterday and today. H | sutherlh
17/9/2019 14:23 | Odd isn't it? Peer Softcat well up today too. I wonder if traders are worried about CCC's exposure to Germany. | f15jcm
17/9/2019 06:17 | Fascinating. Ccc continues to overdeliver on every update, yet continually drifts South. Strange? | insideryou
15/9/2019 15:36 | Yes, but the so may be around 1200p then. H | sutherlh
15/9/2019 07:23 | Trading update 30th Oct, should reverse the trend. | f15jcm
12/9/2019 09:19 | Chartwise not looking great, could be a head and shoulders. Would like to see it get above 1350 pretty soon otherwise I may be exiting. H | sutherlh
29/8/2019 14:03 | Might also be market makers short of stock wanting to fill a large order. Anyway will wait for the dust to settle, may buy back the half I sold, tomorrow if price remains stable. H | sutherlh
28/8/2019 13:26 | Traders dictating its direction, not value. What a great job. Print your own money when you have the money to move shares up and down at will. | insideryou
28/8/2019 12:24 | They've delivered an earnings upgrade and an incredibly positive outlook, yet the share price is tanking! Don't get it. | f15jcm
27/8/2019 19:49 | I'm not sure why there was such a large drop today | perky77
27/8/2019 16:35 | light selling on low volume by the 'it is better to travel' than to arrive brigade today. Outlook statement was very strong and results satisfactory. (revenues up 20% perhaps the standout). | undervaluedassets
23/8/2019 15:06 | Was considering SCT or CCC around Xmas time. Thought SCT with its much higher PE ratio and lower yield was a bit overvalued so went for CCC at the time. Was the less good choice, SCT almost doubled to date since then. Agree IT infrastructure is going strong from feedback from ex colleagues in the large energy company I used to work in. The US acquisition may hinder a CHINESE takeover bid, take out at around £20 sounds plausible but then I am an optimist. H | sutherlh
23/8/2019 14:38 | Undeniable squeeze on margins and talk of increased costs but it's the bottom line that matters the most. That said the outlook was incredibly positive from a typically conservative CEO and weaker H2 comparatives will certainly help. I own a competitive business and the appetite for IT infrastructure is as strong as it ever has been. Brexit has surprisingly had no noticeable impact upon customer spending and I don't think it was even mentioned in CC's results. Softcat CEO has been very bullish on the CRN website but I think their stock looks overvalued. | f15jcm
23/8/2019 13:32 | like the chinese. | red5
23/8/2019 13:16 | this would be nice as takeover target in my opninion. | red5
23/8/2019 10:11 | A lot of jam tomorrow talk and is it believable? I like the organic growth story and believe it will continue in the second half. Less convinced about the return on acquisitions although I like the spread of operations over the USA Germany and France as well as the UK base. It should be pretty Brexit proof? I consider it a good play on technology application support and bought a few more this morning. H | sutherlh
23/8/2019 10:00 | Look the market conditions are little tough however they are more than holding there own if you think about they are making money in the tough part so when things get easier they will stomp upwards | red5
23/8/2019 09:47 | My first impression of the interims wasn't especially positive but I am encouraged by the very positive forward-looking statement and acknowledge the tough comparatives which I will double check. 'Whilst the performance of the first half of 2018 presented a very difficult challenge to beat, the opposite is true of the second half. The Board expects that the full year 2019 profit growth, in monetary value, will be the best in the company's history. This performance will be predominantly achieved without the aid of acquisitions, however we expect to see a more significant contribution from our acquired business in the USA during the second half.' A little more work required but high returns on capital, an enviable record and the possible turnaround in the new US business probably justifies the rating (p/e of about x17 year to December, well covered if modest est dividend 2.3%) in spite of the very modest margins. Views welcome.... | srichardson8
15/8/2019 09:08 | Notice JP Morgan have had another nibble (0.28%) at CCC shares yesterday as per news announcement above. They now hold over 5% of shares if I am reading the announcement correctly. H | sutherlh
06/8/2019 14:49 | hxxp://www.morningst "Computacenter, down 3.5%. Berenberg cut the IT services firm to Hold from Buy." I wonder what reasons they gave. | bathcoup |
