I didn't believe that paid bashers existed until about eight years ago when someone placed a tracker on the EME board and traced a bashers location to 'the city.' He disappeared the same day - although he probably just assumed another alias on another board.

12bn - we all know about weasel words in rns and by posters on chat boards and if you post your Placing Coming Warning every week you may be right eventually ( I doubt there were many who saw the Schroder injection coming ). As your warnings are so regular, wrong so often and not backed by any detailed research about cash burn or specific expenditure they don't seem to have any impact here. Another reason readers aren't bothered is because new management have different ideas which inspire the market so that investors like Schroder tell the board we like what you're doing if we inject more capital will that help you to grow more efficiently? - somewhat different from the ' good old days ' era you seem to be stuck in 12bn!

Northpole2,I am a cynic and I reckon that wording in a statement must always be looked at for a meaning that is not obvious. 'Fully funded for an existing work programme' can easily be used to raise funds for 'additional work',waterflood,Icacos Peninsular well,salaries etc. I will probably be the only person posting on these threads that will not be surprised when a placing arrives,which it will,imo.

No chance of any placing anytime soon. Smell the coffee, CERP is fully funded for its planned 2018 work programme. That was clearly stated in the December RNS. Don't you understand what fully funded means? Effectively that means no placing imminent or likely.

rossannan - so let's get this straight - you currently claim to be out of this share and seemed to be very happy to regularly mention possible decommissioning costs until you were educated about the implications of the win win strategy of new tender application. Anyone mentioning facts relating to historic cash offers for Spain - (like the more than £9 million Ravi 'ole! ' tabled ) is attempting to kid those new to the board because ' complex assets with expenditure attached have very little value at current POO ' ( how little value would say 1000/ 1500 bopd be worth Ross? ) - I think readers will get your agenda on this - about as subtle as an air raid!

Solid selling here,maybe a low priced placing is due? LGO/Cerp usually need to do several placings a year,just to cover costs imo. Any placing will be disguised as a fund raising for waterflood or some new wells but in truth the company usually needs extra funds just to pay running costs,imo.
