16/2/2018 14:54 | TBH, I don't quite follow the logic of Leo wanting to rid of traders and looking at a long term shareholder base, which is allegedly the reason he doesn't want to release rns's for the sake of it. Fair enough, but sticking strictly to a quarterly update , and judging by the fact that the last quarterly update was more or less on the last trading day of the quarter, surely that in itself encourages trading as if that is the norm, peeps will want to take up a position using T10/T20 in anticipation? At the end of the day, he can't control the market as he's trying to dictate who invests in the company. | holly day
16/2/2018 12:08 | Much of the above is somewhat an irrelevance, as is so much posted on LSE. CERP's ambition will be to focus on joining the FTSE Small Cap listing, entry level currently £195m market cap., the drop out level being £49m. | carpadium
16/2/2018 10:33 | From LLL Thu 21:46 -------------------- RE: Schroders...why invested Emily - The FTSE Small Cap index is main market not AIM. When a company chooses to join the London Stock Exchange, it can list shares on the Main Market or seek admission to AIM. Companies listing on the Main Market have to satisfy certain regulatory criteria, providing audited statements for at least three years and being valued at £700,000 or more. Over 1500 companies are listed on the Main Market and some of the biggest are capitalised at more than £90 billion. AIM was created by the London Stock Exchange in 1995 to offer smaller companies the chance to raise money from outside investors. Since then over 3000 smaller, growing companies have joined AIM. Currently there are around 1450 companies on the market operating across 39 sectors in 100 countries. Also, in the article you linked, Schroders lists four ingredients for a successful small cap investment, none of which I would see as applying to CERP. The company should be a market leader in its niche. The company should have a unique product or service to differentiate it from rivals. The company should have good management who hold substantial stakes in the business. (i.e. owning more than 5% of share capital). The company should be cash generative and profitable. | nexus7
16/2/2018 10:17 | Northpole2,of course I am guessing,I have no insider knowledge but the company seems reluctant to give us production numbers, so speculation, guessing | 12bn
16/2/2018 10:06 | You are just guessing 12bn. Just guessing. You simply have an in-ability to even try to accept that things have changed and new management are taking a different approach to the past. Investors like Schroders clearly believe in those changes and wouldn't have invested (and bought again in the market recently) if they believed a discounted placing was imminent. Even you can't believe they would do that. So, no discounted placing on the horizon, if at all. And I understand that all salaries, wages and loan repayment costs were included as part of the cashflow positive statement. So keep guessing and maybe at some point you'll actually get something right. | northpole2
16/2/2018 09:38 | 12bn - you make me laugh ' I doubt anything has changed on the financial front ' - although I have the evidence you boasted about not researching this share occasional readers might be forgiven for thinking I make up stuff about you as it seems so ridiculous - but here is yet another example of your ignorance 12bn! | arrynillson
16/2/2018 08:52 | Will there be a big discounted placing here soon? Imo there will be one as LGO/Cerp have always issued shares to cover costs, several a year and I doubt anything has changed on the financial front. I am expecting the fund raising to be dressed up as a cash raise to finance expansion, that's the usual form! LGO/Cerp has lost around $2m every six months for years and I will be surprised if it actually is in profit now. Any weasel wording to the effect that 'oil production is now covered by income' will not mention the affect salaries/wages/loan costs/etc etc have on profitability, imo. | 12bn
15/2/2018 18:40 | Sellers out in force on a low volume day. Looks like we won't see a rise without news. | the guardian
15/2/2018 16:53 | You sound annoyed Northpole2,wasn't it you that first pulled me up for a spelling error? Cerp will really crash when next months production numbers arrive, imo. Do have a nice day. :) | 12bn
15/2/2018 14:33 | Oil Jumps Most This Year as Buildup Slows in U.S. Storage Tanks → Nationwide crude inventories rose by 1.84 million barrels: EIA → Stockpiles at key pipeline hub drop for eighth straight week Crude climbed the most since December as a recent buildup in U.S. storage tanks and terminals appears to be slowing down. Futures gained 2.4 percent in New York on Wednesday after a government report showed American oil inventories rose by 1.84 million barrels last week. That was lower than all but two of 11 estimates in a Bloomberg survey, and was also less of an increase than in the previous two weeks. At the nation’s biggest pipeline hub, stockpiles have fallen for eight straight weeks... | nexus7

15/2/2018 10:20 | 12bn - btw couldn't help noticing from your thread header you are hosting ' Columbus Energy hit an upwards weekly price breakout ' - dated 14/02/2018 - thanks for letting us know - do you think it will be comparable to the breakout you missed so emphatically at the 2p level 12bn? | arrynillson
15/2/2018 10:02 | 12bn - echo that of Northpole2 the typo was insignificant and more importantly didn't involve misleading readers through your boasted about lack of research on this share 12bn not to mention your legendary advice to readers of some weeks ago that they should sell at 2p! | arrynillson
15/2/2018 09:43 | You need to get a life ... stupid typo on my part, yes, but if that's the best you can do you should just go away and play your silly childish games elsewhere. | northpole2
15/2/2018 07:49 | Thanks TGI'm even happy with 59 tbh as LK forecasts were on 45$ pb So yes 59 great 61 even better. And back to 67 perfect and we aren't liable for tax over 50$bp because of Capex on Goudron which will offset this . So things looking really good here. Just wish bank would get a shift on with my funds. | offerman

15/2/2018 07:26 | Traders make a lot of money like Mark Barker He has posted on here quite a bit when he trades and seems to have called it right a lot too. Yes I believe long termers like myself and many others could do well from this rare gem but traders also seem to have done well | offerman
15/2/2018 07:23 | Whoooa that's quite a drop Last time I saw TG it was 66$ or so But I know 61$ is still brilliant for CERP | offerman
