is there away to make the ma bands like the triple ma. i.e have three on one. this means that two or three bands dont take up half the tools and secondly you would be able to colour them so they are not all pink?

It would have been a intraday time frame..dont think it happens on the daily chart etc. But happens on all indices on the weekend. US is usually worse as the chart ends up looking like one big macd histogram :-)

hooya,

not had a chance to look at that yet, it's a difficult thing to sit around and wait for it to happen over a weekend ;) it's on my list of things to do when i actually have a free weekend though. out of interest could you tell me, if you have the full screenshot handy, what time period the flatline lows corresponded to?

mad4it / abcd1234,

this isn't a general support thread, please keep it on topic. mostly because i don't work on the areas you're talking about at all, so i have no idea about them :>

Hi David
I notice ALL of the constant gainers and constant fallers data has been lost over the weekend, just like the last time we had a bank holiday. Which also means all the figures will be wrong for the next 7, 8 9, 10 working days etc :O(

Hi David.

I went to look through fridays PDX trades pages and there's only one page! Which obviously doesn't show all the days trades. I know we lost AFN for a couple of hours, but that doesn't seem to correspond to the trade times, even with delayed trades. The data seems to start at around 10.00am. Is the full days data retrievable ?

This is the candle issue over the weekend...and also the 60 min candles only show as a dash out of hours

fyi, fx should not think it's a holiday next monday, i'll have a look at that.

i'm curious about the candles over the weekend too and may look at it if i get a chance. it's on my list of stuff.

one thing would be great is that the candle charts never work properly over the weekend thus its very difficult to do back testing i.e looking over intraday charts etc. Not sure why its like that. Line charts are fine.

Also dont forget Monday is a bank holiday not sure about FX though

ha! let it never be said i am not the fastest coder in the west.

fractions of % (or more specifically, accepting decimal percentages eg 2.2%, 0.025% etc)for the MA Envelopes are done and will be up along with the high/low MA study on beta soon.

(it was a simple change actually as we do all the internal calculating to high precision so it was just a matter of changing the interface to that)

i was also thinking of doing a study plotting the MAs of the high and the low, how does that grab you?

i'm still working on the post/premarket data aggregation, so that's still my top priority, but doing studies is a bit of a break comparatively ;)

DAvid on the MA envelope things...spoken to BB on the other thread ( the ones who chart I put up) and he says sierra charts allow the ma bands to be fractions of %...can the ones on here allow that in the future please?
