23/11/2017 10:07 | maybe its a good thing if those wanting to jump ship do it before the consolidation , although i cant see why this company would be sold down given the accomplishments recently | boodgewoodge
23/11/2017 06:56 | thanks , take along some dynamite .....! | boodgewoodge
23/11/2017 06:55 | Hi boodge, I'm off to AGM tomorrow so will report back then | 2bozmo
23/11/2017 06:13 | 2bozmo , give us some light at the end of the tunnel here , surely the board has this strategy well thought out without the share price taking a beating post consolidation and that going forward the shareholders can realize some value of our investment with the company and stop seeing our capital being bludgeoned into oblivion | boodgewoodge
21/11/2017 19:53 | Well Bodge, if the shares in the months after consolidation do drop as we all expect to happen subject to history repeating itself with consolidations, then I wouldn't like to be in David Brown's shoes when all the "new" and "old" big guns come a knocking on his office door demanding to know why their big investments here are nowhere near worth as much as they injected into the Company !! Let's hope we are all wrong about what will happen to the share price From having a half a million of these shares pre-consolidation then to only have 25,000 shares after consolidation, doesn't do anything for my enthusiasm any more. Come on David Brown, prove us all wrong............... | channel pirate
21/11/2017 18:34 | Gauging from the trend of the share price on the jse this looks like we are heading for the abyss! I can only assume that the board have thought this through thoroughly and have sourced the prospective investors who are not allowed to consider penny stocks for their portfolios and we are not progressively sold down to these dismal levels with one twentieth of our original holdings . Mr Brown spoke about "quantum leaps of the share price " in 2015 and now of " returns in the near term " for shareholders and all that has taken place is a continuous sell off with no interest on the buying side. With being fair to the board they surely have delivered their turnaround plan but this valuation is nothing short of ridiculous. The rebranding and consolidation must be coupled with why is the share price not reacting to all that has been achieved and addressed aggressively | boodgewoodge

18/11/2017 16:31 | All very odd I had to buy another £500 worth this week at 2.39 I must be mad, but hopeful for more good news this week. I need 6p to break even good luck all | allend47
18/11/2017 15:53 | 1.legacy issues put to rest 2.expanding balance sheet , cga delivering , increasing commodity price possibility of higher pricing of offtake agreements 3.only 2 more land rights to secure 4.further cost saving by delisting from? asx 5.share price that allows participation by fund managers and investment houses 6.second cga shortly , mentioned by Mr Brown more frequently at every public conversation 7.very likely sale of further non core assets (vele please ) shortly again spoke about more frequently by Mr Brown 8.funding, shorter time to production, offtake agreements being discussed and solid volume of high demand coking coal waiting to be disposed off. Then why would anyone pressurise the share price post consolidation? Consolidation being the quickest route to get the share price out of the penny range . Any ideas why the share price could possibly go south post consolidation with regard to this company specifically? | boodgewoodge
15/11/2017 11:58 | 2bozmo ,a quick look at the YTD graph of the share price and i would advise to invite Mr Brown to accompany you !!! | boodgewoodge

14/11/2017 18:11 | Suspension soon, then share consolidation, then scope to fall further. Nearly always happens on consolidations. | bengal1

30/10/2017 10:18 | Mon, 30th Oct 2017 09:28 RNS Number : 9525U Coal of Africa Limited 30 October 2017 ANNOUNCEMENT 30 October 2017 ISSUE OF WARRANTS TO INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF SOUTH AFRICA Coal of Africa Limited ("CoAL" or the "Company") confirms it has today issued a total of 48,175,033 unlisted share options or warrants to the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Limited ("IDC") pursuant to the terms of a Loan Agreement between the Company, its subsidiary Baobab Mining and Exploration Proprietary Limited and the IDC, signed in April 2017 (the "Loan Agreement"). The first tranche of the loan funding of R120 million (US$8.5 million) was drawn down by the Company in May 2017 and the warrants being issued for these funds equate to 2.5% of the entire issued share capital of CoAL as at 5 December 2016. The warrants vest immediately and expire and are exercisable on or before 16 June 2022 at R0.60 each. | channel pirate
28/10/2017 16:57 | A very decent close but not encouraging enough volume, there seems to be ongoing selling pressure obviated by the large visible shares on offer, why anyone would want to dispose of their holdings in a company that has put their many albatrosses to bed permanently and is harnessing an upward channel is utterly bewildering except ofcourse the pic whom I assume has to raise funds for soe's bailouts and the disposal of their Telekom stake has not been well received so I am of the opinion that they might dispose of smaller under the radar holdings to be able to continue their bailouts without too much fuss , is the pic still a share holder of cza ? The consolidation should be deferred until after the disposal of vele and the successful completion of the second cga unless institutional policy really prevents them from participating in company's with share price at such levels, something I am unaware of ( please assist ) and the board is expecting a flurry of interest and an exponential rise in the share price from zar1000 to zar5000 there is absolutely no benefit to consolidate at these levels | boodgewoodge
27/10/2017 19:06 | Don't get me wrong, as a long term holder I'm not for the consolidation and will vote against it. But lots of positives to take awayDecent close on JSE today. | 2bozmo
27/10/2017 13:08 | looks like Vele's next to get the chop (brilliant) , and the second cga is definitely on the cards (even more brilliant) ! rebranding i see the benefit 2bozmo , completely against the share consolidation at these levels , could have been proposed north of the ZAR200 level which any which way you look at it is just around the corner | boodgewoodge |
