This share price is just ridiculous to say the least!

No. Don't think market cares to be honest. Decent numbers out of Uitkomst and no reaction, plus positive working capital number.See what comes with Makhado Lite, find out more dets tomorrow. Brings production forward and not as much capex to fund. Don't expect any surprises in financial results themselves. A lot of boxes have been ticked, but not evident in share price

2bozmo , do you think the share price is a reflection of tomorrows results

From what I understand Makhado Lite will involve smaller scale project 1.7Mtpa from 5.5Mtpa, reducing CAPEX bill materially and more easily financeable project. It will allow CZA to retain a near 70% holding in the project, with only a US$25m equity raise required to take smaller project into production. Uitkomst numbers were good today but it's earnings won't cover everything - still need to sell Mooiplaats (and Vele?) which will hopefully hear more about Friday. The acquisition of Uitkomst should also benefit us by having the operations team in house, so more internal expertise in making progress with Makhado.

someones a producer with a positive cash flow ... 370 000 in 6 months looks better than the projections

no i have not communicated with the company , chalk it up to sheer frustration coming through from my side ! its just quarter after quarter after quarter of sub optimal progress with a share price that is constantly under pressure . Mooiplaats has been under the " prospective buyers " microscope for an eternity with no mention of new prospective buyers or are they same group just hanging around , an acquisition that fulfills that criteria only viz an acquisition !

Boodge, have you tried speaking to company? Normally forthcoming. Details of Makhado Lite to be released to market at end of month

It just feels like we're all just " totally ducked " even as long term holders, so a short term punt at your own peril would be putting it conservatively ! With each passing day of complete silence results in the deepening of the abyss of no confidence in the leadership and future of a company that has been portrayed as having real potential to be a mid tier producer and not fighting for survival at every quarterly update!

Releasing Makhado Lite at end of this month which they're very excited about. Hopefully also sale of Mooiplaats although I'm guessing not given the s/p.

boodgewoodge , have the company implied when this might happen ? Am tempted for a quick punt if it's soon.

we really should be having all the ducks in a row for the successful disposal of Mooiplaats by now ?

2nd acquisition is expected to be larger than Uitkomst. Hopefully funded by Mooiplaats. I'm not adverse to selling Vele as well although given coal prices it is possible we start mining there again

No, Makhado is about 80 Km SE from Vele as the crow flies.

The Makhado Lite info will be released to market at end of this month. They were hoping for Mooiplaats sale to be confirmed as well. Coal prices keep rallying so hopefully in good shape. Don't think anything of Vele article, we're not mining there or likely to anytime soon.

Any ideas of the next acquisition and mooiplaats future ( makhado and makhado lite have just become sometime very far down the road )

Heading for an all time low by the looks of things. That's about as exciting as it gets here. :(

I can't see anything that's either new or negative in that article. To my mind the improvements in coking coal price and outlook is far more relevant. Providing a better backdrop to help us advance our projects, including Vele, referred to in that article.

Miningnews reports " coal mining halted on heritage site " naming CoAL specifically, how does this affect us in the near and long term? Shouldn't we be getting some clarity from the board?
