27/1/2018 10:38 | I was at the AGM and Algy was saying that towards the end of last year there was still a lot of big merger and acquisition activity for some companies to get through into the New Year first. I still believe that the chances are that news may come nearer to the licence awards, when companies know what they've got and what they're short of but who knows, things are always in a state of flux. As always DYOR. | clickon

25/1/2018 20:35 | the CLNR 'offer' and terms have been in the data room for 13 months inviting bidders-the share price action indicates that nothing is afoot- one has to hold in any event and see how it pans out Aim, a world of Pain !!! | kristini2
25/1/2018 20:31 | They could have a number of offers on the table and are negotiating the best one. Or they might be going through the contracts with their lawyers, Or the the interest has petered out and they are no longer in discussions. Either of those first two wouldn’t merit an RNS as its commercially sensitive. | wordog
25/1/2018 17:05 | Seems hard to comprehend that we would get other licences without having a definitive deal pencilled in .Kind of cant fund the licences youve got but we will give you more. The placing may well be on the cards, press leaks or articles I am always wary of ,as pointed out before ,raise the share price on theback of articles in press then some favoured few exit ready to get back in on the placing .Only speculative of course but not out of the question ...May deadline so its possible it could be announced at the last minute .Prefer anleys february dateline. | bronislav
25/1/2018 16:44 | I favour a 50:50 part funded drill, above a farm out, although share capital will be diluted, we retain more value and as the oil price climbs we don't get caught out by increased drilling costs as time motors on.. I imagine some parties could wait until the licences are announced, to see where possible awards may fit within the complete picture with 2248 etc. Or if what they get in the round is enough on its own | clickon
25/1/2018 16:33 | Although asset values increase, I suppose that is some consolation. I think they're going to need to keep an eye on it, especially if we need a 50:50 part funded drill! | clickon
25/1/2018 16:25 | Yes, I was wondering about rising rig costs Click. A rock and a hard place springs to mind | doshdabbler
25/1/2018 16:18 | I imagine that mms are looking for a two way trade and the chance to take out some more stale bulls nearer the offer price, giving them more latitude for the future. | clickon
25/1/2018 16:10 | If oil keeps going up I imagine drilling will cost more | clickon
25/1/2018 15:57 | Wonder where the bottom is. 1.5p?That's what you get with a tip in the papers. A huge spike, then a momentous retrace. No news this quarter and the placing price is back within reach. | doshdabbler

22/1/2018 18:05 | you'd think some share price traction would be showing up if algy's february forecast is correct..... As for 'apparently savvy investors' soulssourcs- journos at the sunday times do not even qualify as 'apparent' experts, their expertise is in their written skills | kristini2

22/1/2018 14:01 | If Algy brings home the bacon, Cowie will have been wrong twice. | clickon
22/1/2018 10:19 | Good to know that the apparently more savvy investors can get it wrong too. Now come on Algy bring home the bacon. | soulsauce |
