With little noise coming out of the company and given the month may is important for the company it does point to the bid round results being pivotal in the farm out deal we hope to secure.I believe the bid round results are due in the next six or so weeks,if correct that is not too long to wait.My own view is that a deal is done,in principal, and is to a degree interdependant on the bid round ,something the team awarding the licences will have been made aware of .

Hi Anley good to hear from you, not quite sure why you're anticipating a comment on finances at the end of February, they expect the last placing to last until at least mid Q2 it appears? Are you allowing time for a new placing to be made?

Been away but kept a close eye on what is happening in the markets and surprise - surprise the price did not go down and trigger a another buy position.

I am keeping to the end of February as CLNR could have to make an announcement on their finances as a going concern - remember the year end was December 2017 and the last placing gave a time date as to when the working capital was to run out........

That's all for the moment..........but good to see a few new posters.

...what's coming first: another fund raise, farm-out, or new licence(s) from the 30th round?

Rather more buys than sells today.

Presumably those trades at 2.50p are buys as test sells give an share price of 2,46p. However buys currently for PIs seem at higher SPs than 2.50p

Farm-out Process

The farm-out process in respect of P2248 and P2252 is currently on-going and the Company has been encouraged by the level of traffic through the dataroom. The fault seal analysis will be circulated, along with the results of the AVO analysis, to the dataroom participants with the aim of closing the dataroom during the summer.

......

P2248

Combined recoverable resource estimates for the 3 Bunter Sandstone prospects range from 252 BCF to 1,766 BCF with a Best Estimate (P50) of 806 BCF. Basic well designs and high-level cost estimates suggest well costs of between £5M and £8M to test each Bunter Prospect.

Talking with Andrew Nunn he was saying that we only need a 'Jack Up Rig' as the water is not very deep, so that's a positive.

Appreciate your thoughts. Well they have until September for a part funded drill which should be plenty of time if no one deems it attractive enough to take over the operatorship. Won't be great for the SP, but it does remove the binary risk.

Red, I know it is of concern. I've tried to work through possibilities, is it possible that they've outlined various parameters and potentials with potential partners. I believe that they should have a part funded drill plan in place to cover eventualities.

Click, the licences will be awarded in mid April I believe. That doesn't leave a lot of time to wrap up a deal before cash runs out. My worry is Clnr is more focused on what they might get in the OGA Round than what they already have. I flipping hope the data room delivers.

As usual the Government and that includes all previous administrations of Labour or Conservative , as far as coherent energy policy goes, have been caught with their trousers down. The exploration industry needs tax breaks. Otherwise we get a whole lot of nothing and so do they! Algy's been pushing for this for years. Unfortunately the abilities of people who make policy decisions in Government and associated bodies, leaves a lot to be desired. As usual the Chancellor prioritises the housing market, making sure the banks mortgage books aren't underwater! While not doing enough to create incentives in the exploratory gas industry. Brexit will only be a success if we get some smart cookies making Britain a place to do business!
