These are in my long term box along with TRY, etc. Personally happy with low yield (albeit 3% is all I get if honest from BTL) if its means money is being reinvested keeping asset values up, such as repurposing office space, etc
They did mention in the last conference call that if corporation tax rates rise to 25% they may consider REIT status, in which case the gross yield would rise

I favoured the regular tender offers as they helped power very significant SP
and earnings growth over a multi year timeframe.

Given the longer term record here the % discount looks very harsh indeed,
but that is the market and pricing anomalies can sometimes persist -
or persist for longer than expected.

Agree with Sky that forward momentum looks to have hit a wall somewhat,
as thought the same recently.

Quality company through.

CLI's breakout has rather fizzled out; but that 32.3% NAV discount at 230p remains compelling value. If only they would pay a more sensible dividend.

Seems penny dropping that office has a value. Allowing staff to do some home working but that means can give them more space in office when in seems where we end up

Pretty clear from Lagarde ECB is going to do more due to southern weakness and we know where it will all end up eventually

Four blocks of 315k hitting the book. Any more for any more?

Bizarrely, after all the lumpy and volatile moves CLI is prone to, it is still going up in a civilised manner.

Can it last? Is it even possible?

All imo

Another chunky director buy here by chairman of 40k.

Yes, it is doing a very slow breakout. The price dynamic appears different at the moment post the results and the director buys so possibly a sign of sentiment change.

Don't want to get too bullish here though because CLI carries the type of price moves that make you want to listen to a karaoke duet comprising Johnson and Merkel. Very lumpy and irrational moves where breakouts get sold.

Noted buyers in size at 230p this week and indeed 100k sat there at the moment too so that looks a nice place to raise the stop to from that 224p initial amount.

Still creeping up, 234p. May sell a few if it breaks 240p but also tempted to hold on for the div. Remains a well managed long term winner though. Days at the office are not over yet.

RNS at 18:00 yesterday - CEO buying more:

"The Company announces that it was notified on 15 March 2021 that Fredrik Widlund, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company, purchased 33,000 ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 225.61 pence per Ordinary Share."

Most property stock have recently broken higher. This has been left behind. Legs for 240p at least i hope.

858k bought at 225p. Any more for any more? Looks like it is going to take some whoppers here.

Another chart that continues to look interesting in threatening a breakout but still not enough volume to get it through the resistance levels - really stubborn sellers in size at work around key levels.

Price clearly needs to clear resistance or it could easily gap back down quite quickly to around 215p.

All imo

14:57 Hang about. Something wrong with it. It is having a go at breaking out with the price hitting 230p but can it clear 230p and close nicely above it to confirm the breakout?

15:37 Ok I've nibbled a few trying to play the breakout. There have been large volume exchanges here on numerous occasions without the share rallying so it has clearly been held back by sellers in size. Naturally have no idea when sellers clear or whether they come back in here but it looks well bid (though CLI is incredibly deceptive with lumpy moves - not the easiest to read) and the price move is the most bullish in a while. Mental stop under 224p here, to account for illiquid gap moves. Can it form an uptrend and hold the breakout to close the gap to NAV?

Watched the webcast, seems fine bar the debt rising from 33.7% to high 30s % due to new purchases. Time will tell if this was a good or bad idea

Well if the market appears largely disinterested,
it's a case of having a few on a bad day, then flipping those.
That has worked very well for months now.

Can move quickly sometimes, certainly think a climb to 250p is justified but that's just me.

A couple of decent early chunks here: 201k and 235k @ 221p.

Chart is in a narrow range with the price prone to lumpy moves. Watching to see if the volume picks up on the back of that report to allow a breakout.

Top of that chart is about that 226p level so it really needs to close above there or it will continue to be rangebound until the volume picks up to clear out sellers preventing any break higher.

Seem perfectly decent, if not good results , with co well placed to continue delivering progress, but market not interested. Case of anticipating when sentiment will change. I guess it's not yet. Still feel should be a lot of upside v nav at some point.
