looks a cracking bet to me, already trading miles under NAV and now selling property in London at 17% over b/s valuation - b/s must be very conservative imo.

Last NAV statement 719p (up 11% from 603p) - NAV probably risen more since

Current share price 467p

29 Oct Sten Mortstedt, Chairman, bought 1.18K
30 Oct " " bought 1.16K
2 Nov " " bought 7.9K

£48K worth bought by him a fortnight ago.

Must be trading at a 40%+ discount to NAV, NAV risen at 10% over the past year.

Explains the sudden drop which has smashed through my stop loss and seen my bet closed at a substantial loss. Nearly all my gains from previous spreadbet gone.
Still holding two or three more bets without stop loss.

Horrible day all round.

I took some serious profits here a few weeks back on stock sale and on SBs but retained a very sizeable three spreadbets which had almost reached stop loss late last week. Luckily the recovery has come just in time. Do hope that you are right.

Yet again more of the same with the sell price remaining pretty solid but the buy price fluctuating.

Still very difficult to see where the share price is going here. Has the momentum fizzled out? Maybe the PIs have deserted this stock for the moment? Or is this just a period of consolidation? The fundamentals still say this is heavily undervalued.

Same today - buy price moves up and down, sell price stays static. Difficult to see which way this one will go short term.

Yes I had been thinking of top slicing but now I might reverse my tactic and buy more. Today was rather strange as the buy price was high but the sell price didn't move all day and I had been expecting the latter to move up towards the close.

Well if punters were waiting for a pull back they won't get much better than this to buy on GI, imo.

Let the trend be your friend - and this has a delightful trend :-)

720p NAV rising at 10% this year gone and the share price still £2 below NAV. Next leg up will be a race imo.

TEF is a darling - there's someone selling in size but as soon as he's done the buyers will turn up whem there's no stock imo. Results in 10 weeks time will be an eye opener to the market.

It's a good market at the moment - back in CIU over the past few days - great results today. Had good performance out of IDS and SAVG today and IERE. Market shrugging off bad news too which is good.

I am unashamedly admitting to following your twittering. Hope you don't mind!
Obviously I am selective and not by any means all your choices are mine but I like your approach in searching out shares well below NAV very low pe's and often Director buys. Your legwork is much appreciated. In the middle of a momentum-led bull run this is pretty persuasive tactics. I have now sold out of RMV and Savills and taken my profit but have gone back into TTG with a spread that is already well up - amazing. Have bought and sold a host of SBs in this one over the last few weeks and every one a winner. Will probably go back buying hard stock in the former two when I come into a bit of cash in a month or two if the prices haven't gone too high. Spreadbet RMV as a back stop anyway.
Unfortunately closed my Max Petroleum at a loss just before they surged today. Well, one will have losses of course! Have followed IERE for a long time now been in and out now out. Will look again. Thanks
CHNS drop in share price is the usual - opaque goings on in the boardroom. Am long and still just in the blue but will now consider whether to sell or add.
Sticking with your TEF by the way though no real progress there and Huntsworth doing well - of the ones I stole from your tipsheet.
VLE results out very soon looks a stone certainty for a serious rise in share price If they announce a new acquisition I can see the share price doubling in a week. This is a real strong one (and I have been in that for a number of years).
I thought at the end of last week that we might be in for a market reaction and then again this morning with the unemployment figures but the number of deals per day is rising steadily and this is the main sign of a recovery. 6,000 is on the cards and it could happen very quickly and maybe any short term fall back (profit taking) will this time be in October or November
