26/3/2019 08:52 | Jamie, Agreed, once the licences were confiscated it became a binary bet on the ICSID decision, and in a politically corrupt world that was less than an evens bet, IMHO. The potential rewards were huge of course, but the chances of actually achieving them were very low, and it has sadly come to pass. Some people encouraged posters on the basis of pounds per share once CHL won, and making out a CHL victory was a slam dunk, when it never was, it was a gamble at best. To be still talking positively about CHL winning is absolutely bizarre, given the situation as it currently stands, even though we are all agreed that decision is about as corrupt as it gets. | andy

25/3/2019 23:07 | Not sure he has a choice Needs too much funding | nico115
25/3/2019 22:34 | jamie, memories of the Monty Python sword fight "draw"! | andy
25/3/2019 20:35 | Jack The police files, the ROI will be reluctant to give these to chl.The police will not hand over files without rois permission. | neo26
25/3/2019 20:08 | What utter rubbish like everything you have written over the last 2 years You will twist every negative to make out it's a positive It's all over now ,hope you're proud of the way you have sucked in the private investor with your "10 pounds settlement" and "a win for Chl is a certainty "The only thing that's a certainty is you are a nutty fantasist ..All over can't you understand ?? | nico115
25/3/2019 18:13 | Nobody has yet mentioned this, PALA has an enormous interest in several Indonesian mining companies and has a vested interest in the CHL outcome, from the point of view of those interests also having dubious documents. | stephen1946
25/3/2019 18:10 | There has to a reason behind the silence connected with the aftermath of this annulment shambles. The comments now coming from Indonesia are remarkable. "Churchill tried unsuccessfully to coerce Indonesia into making a settlement." Pala have been denied a fortune by ICSID. I doubt very much if PALA are in the slightest bit interested in giving CHL a `HAIRCUT`. For a start, they need D.Q. backing, because, imho, this is far from over. Pala is a mammoth corporation worth billions and can pull its weight in Indonesia to such an extent, it is to be feared. Let`s just wait and see what time brings. | stephen1946
25/3/2019 18:03 | Neo/wulber - I can't see DQ just rolling over here without a fight. We all know justice has not been done here. It is a total perversion of justice with the evil villains of the piece crowing over their ill gotten and machevillian victory. It won't be plain sailing but there must be a way to right such a momentous wrong. | jnbrw
25/3/2019 17:42 | C/C are representing the mining company | jack1236
25/3/2019 15:44 | Neo26 They thought it would go against them; same last time, with the Award. | jack1236
25/3/2019 15:42 | Just a thought, if Churchill / CC could get hold of the 'police files' now, that would be 'new evidence' for the Revision. As there is no longer an investigation, there should be no objection to providing the 'police files'. | jack1236
25/3/2019 15:36 | JackThat is really odd, not one official mentioned the annulment now they all jumping with joy.Wulber Nothing is certain we may just go into admin. | neo26
25/3/2019 15:11 | Lets see if they are raving if we move everything to Paris! | wulber
25/3/2019 15:05 | jamesss1 It's just the usual from ROI Officials; after the Award in Dec 2016 not one ROI Official mentioned that we had filed for Annulment. Now they are 'raving' about the Annulment victory. | jack1236
25/3/2019 14:24 | I cant read the links as they are not in English ...I'm assuming it's not going to be good news anyways | jamesss1
25/3/2019 12:32 | These perverse decisions will also embolden pariah states to continue expropriation of investment projects. How can that help the investment environment? | jnbrw
25/3/2019 12:22 | The ICSID is self-serving; they ignore the facts; they lack any integrity; they can't manage procedures; so much wrong. | jack1236 |
