I don't see the point in ICSID if the standard of ruling is so poor.I havent even read it but know I will be blushing with embarrassment for ICSID and their squirming just to appease their buddies back at the office.

TBH James, can't be bothered reading it and probably just infuriate me more.It is what it is, a fudge to protect their own.Now fingers crossed that CC/CHL/Pala join forces to take this away from ICSID, with stay of costs and funding and punish ROI!

That article pulls back the cosy covers and show what a shambolic, corrupt and incestuos bed the arbiters are all lying in.

Totally unacceptable and unfit for purpose in the 21st century.

Has anyone read the excuses that ICSID have issued to our anullment application?I read about 5 pages and lost interest straight away...may try a bit later for what it's worth.
P.s I'm only able to write posts on certain members replies as Andy still has me blocked.

Its enforceable, so confiscation of overseas assets for resale or direct deduction from world bank funding to ROI. Many ways to collect.

I would have said that if this was a fair level playing field case and we'd lost then the large investors would walk away.As we have been royally screwed over (pardon the pun) and we were completely stitched up like a kipper by ICSID, l think Pala et al must be thinking, same scenario, same case but different legal jurisdiction, we would win.If the prize is simply the original $70mn investment back then that surely must be worth $1,000,000 funding to get back 35 times your investment at a 50% haircut, providing stay of cost.I really don't know of course, but my gut says in for a penny in for a pound!

If we did go through a non ICISD court, how do we claim property / cash from ROI if we were to win

Jack Nice article Jack, there appears to be options but its all about the funding at the moment and whether the large investors have an appetite to continue.

As a side note Fraport gets quoted in the Annulment; the President of the Ad Hoc Committee was a arbitrator in the Fraport case.

I expect not many would want to sell their shares for 2p if they could during this suspension. As they be too paranoid of another chance happening here.
