Hmm, - held BSG a while back, not currently.

A little breather today for CC. but the large volume of late says the buyer isn't fully fed yet, mm's just hoping to pick up a bit of stock cheap imo.

Little breather then on and up imo.

A lot higher by the Xmas trading statement in Jan imo.

Loads in the CC. near me at the weekend .

CR - Can we break the 50p tomorrow? The stores are looking busy this Christmas, so surely it's only a matter of time. I agree that there appears to be some big buyers out there taking up positions before the Jan update. I've always thought we will be around 60p by the time of the statement. Hopefully I'm right, but there again I thought HMV would be over £1.30 by mid jan (paid £1.11) and that's not looking too promising!

Lovely breakout - must test 60p over the coming weeks/months imo.

Jan t/s should be interesting.

Cummon, get on with it and break out properly - these should be starting with a 5 by now - right on the breakout.

There's certainly a buyer around at this level, a few more 75k buys should see us there!

62p the next resistance when it goes through.

HMV today sounded rather good I thought hoper2. Thought it might have been up more than this.

CC. firm today again - someone suggested to me that might be on the back of it's promotion to the FTSE Small Cap Index - should definitely help imo.

CR - Didn't see the buying until this evening, overall a good solid day for CC.

Been doing the Christmas shopping with the wife this week. A pain as always, but gave me a chance to have a look at the various stores. The 3 CC. stores I've seen - York&Doncaster - were busy and the new style BSLA store in York was impressive with plenty of customers. However, it is one of their flagship stores so you would expect it to be. To be honest most shops were busy and seemed to be doing loads of business, the only disappointments were the sports firms - JJB and JD Sports - which were totally empty.

I will be keeping a close eye on my HMV investment tomorrow to see what their intrims are like. Most people seem to have lowered their expectations a little since GMG's update, but I'm forever the optimist and from what I've seen lately business has been booming!

Cracking turnaround at IGR - and heavily weighted to H2.

Think CC will be doing even better perhaps.

Nice one - chart still curving up steeper - I expect these to get a bit ballistic as the Jan trading statement approaches.

Yes, agree - a big chunk of their stake gone to someone.

I was late to BSLA but better late that never. I was looking at 28p too but held off :-(

I'm sure CC.'s going to make it up for you.

CR - They were 28p when I was thinking of buying! Sounds like it's the Icelandic bank/Sports Direct shares being sold off. Once again well done.

25% of the company's shares gone through @ 50p+

Yep, hindsight is great - easy to kick yourself after the event.

BSLA seemed like a good buy simply because when you get a move like that on news then often the second leg up is rather good, even if you've missed the first imo.

It seems there's a lot of small retail facing stocks that are way undervalued imo. I've also had PHTM which say they are well ahed and had huge cash generation recently.

IGR I've already mentioned.

Also holding UCG which say they are ahead, FD buying recently - results soon.

APG is another, doin gvery well, paying a divi now, no debt, loads of property.

They all have the common denominator that they are all penny shares - seems to me these type of stocs valued in pennies often move faster and are often more undervalued imo.

Anyway, HMV should do well, CD/DVD's selling well according to John Lewis last week.

CR - Well done for getting in at under 42p the other day. I was almost tempted, but I hold 93,000 and as confident as I am it would be a case of too many eggs in the one basket!
I notice that you have done well with BSLA as well. I looked at them for a long time, but decided to get in HMV instead. It certainly looks like I was wrong, but I didn't like the fact that two major shareholders held so many shares. Looks like I missed out big time, but we can't get them all and I think HMV will do well. IGR does look interesting.

Large buys feeding through now, post statement small sales now out of the way so the market should push this higher above recent highs, chart looks great!

Next leg up starting here by the look of it.

In view of the AGM statement I expect a strong Christmas trading statement - reckon the buyers will be in here in advance.

Reckon IGR's results will be good on the 15th too imo - good director buying, big management changes and cost cuttings.
