Spoole5 - you are correct. most people don't trust CSH anymore, and for good reason.

CSH do at least provide social housing - compare their (or their tenants') ratio of employees to beds to HOME's.

HOME is a dubious business model IMO, CSH less so - albeit many of the shorter's allegations against them were true (directors setting up co's outside of CSH).

SP will muddle along I suspect until more comfort with the sector in general. Home opening up bags of worms after CSH itself having to defend its own shorting attack. Social housing is an essential need in todays society so just have to be patient and take the dividend income.

I think CSH could announce they have found gold underneath all their properties and the share price wouldn't rise.

HOMEs management is not going to win any awards; other than for spending money quickly of course But that can be fixed much easier than a balance sheet can be

Not for me William HOME quality of property stock is not where I want to put my hard earned cash ,Did buy a good few with the fall to 48p with the view of holding long term managed to sell at a small profit after reading the blog of Specs investigations ,Management at HOME is very poor indeed I will give it a wide berth until they are removed.

HOMEs better value Bigger discounts to GAV, and far far better balance sheet

Happy that my near 9% yield is safe plus a decent update we are on the right track, managements previous shenanigans'are well in the past and unlikely to be repeated in the future. We can thank muddy waters for bringing it to our attention at least.

"As part of the wider ambition to meet the 'net-zero-carbon' challenge by 2050, social housing providers have been set a target to attain a C rating on Energy Performance Certificates by 2035."??? Typo

Lol @Williamscooper104.

Interesting to see EPC comment:

"The proportion of properties with EPC Rating A-C is currently c.53%.."

"Clean Energy Strategy to achieve minimum EPC "A-C" prior to the Government target of 2035"

2025, surely? Let's hope that's the only typo.

Interesting to see where they've settled post-bear revelations.

HOME have got cash; maybe they could buy some of CSHs assets And then you know CSH could buy some of HOMEs

This email confirms to me the BOD are serious about shareholder concern and are active in doing so:"whether via share buy-backs and/or sale of properties. The Board controls such matters and some months ago instructed the Manager to identify a series of assets for potential sale".If the market for CSH stock is not valuing its assets, then the real world should.
