21/9/2007 14:13 | spaceparallax - 21 Sep'07 - 10:26 - 26779 of 26780 Presumably we're due production figures soon -------------------- 17th. July.2007 In April 2007, Caspian Holdings announced a temporary suspension of its export license. The Company expects to resume exports during the third quarter of 2007 | vavoom2
21/9/2007 13:56 | What production were you thinking of in particular Space? | phillis

12/9/2007 12:35 | PS I'm at work computer, hence the different name. No deception intended. Countbasie1 | jackmcwrinkle
12/9/2007 12:34 | Dom, I'm extrapolating the figures from the AGM report which states 11,000 barrels for each of two quarters. But I'm not defending Masterman as I am down a lot of money on this share; but not a loss until I sell. However, I made the decisions and I have to take the consequences. I just wish I had sold when I was actually in profit (would you believe). There is a possibility of resumption of exports and that would affect the share price favourably IMO. I'm not expecting good news as this company has been dire in its leadership and management of assets and I agree that the extension is very unlikely because I think MM has not dealt with the Kazakh authorities as well as he might have. | jackmcwrinkle
11/9/2007 16:32 | Hmmmmmm.........did it go as low as this one has from the issue price and subsequent highs? | markinthepark
11/9/2007 16:23 | grlz / mark - have a look at Po Valley and see how the share price rocketed on that before falling back to way below it's list price. | geoffcapes
11/9/2007 16:18 | Shame he hasn't performed at all over here.....have you looked at the share price lately? Have you read the news items going back the last couple of years? He floated the company on the back of some ancient russian assessments and everyone fell for it...then when the oil that was being pumped was pitiful they had to come clean and admit they had vastly over stated the potential here...production has been fraught with problems with knackered old wells needing constant maintenance..etc etc.....the only thing keeping this alive is the fairy story about expansion for exploration but no one else is going to let him have that...... | markinthepark
11/9/2007 16:13 | wasn't that just the whole AA vs Glencore issue? I don't see Masterman performing poorly at Po Valley Energy. | grlz
11/9/2007 11:16 | Dow Jones Newswires 01-05-01 In particular, Anglo American wants to remove Anaconda Chief Executive Andrew Forrest and Chief Financial Officer Michael Masterman and says it "no longer has faith in the board as currently constituted" given the substantial delays in achieving production targets. And removed he was. Deja vu? | geoffcapes
11/9/2007 11:12 | grlz - Have a look at why he left. | geoffcapes
09/9/2007 12:39 | Mark, I don' think it was as definite as 'were to resume'. There is a big element of doubt. However, if they do resume then 44000 bo per year times $60pb is $2640000 per annum revenue. I know the directors pay themselves well for their work accordng to the last AGM report but it would jusify an share price increase, but how much? Even a conservative p/e ratio of 10 sees the share price higher. If Masterman, despite Dom's strongly held opinion, is working to secure the extension area and succeeds and drill bit success rate is as high as on the current pitifully small acreage then we could see a 30 fold increase in production with commensurate cost increases of course. One problem is that a report about two years ago suggested that the Kazakh government was going to give priority to Kazakh firms when granting exploration licences. This sort of environment and investors' views about Masterman's plans conspire against this share. But there is a lot of interest in this area of the world from big players. | countbasie1
07/9/2007 13:57 | The company did say that exports were due to resume in the 3rd qtr....no news about that so far and there's 3 weeks left to go......that may explain the drift here again..... | markinthepark
07/9/2007 13:53 | A long shot spanmoor. Have a feeling though if it spikes the LTHs will head for the exit sharpish. | volsung

06/9/2007 18:39 | GeoffCapes - 6 Sep'07 - 15:38 - 26764 of 26765 grlz - Have a look on Google for Michael Masterman and Annaconda. -------------------- Geoff At one time you were never off the phone to Masterman and he was your hero ?? | vavoom2
06/9/2007 18:31 | will any good become of this share, pls can anyone tell me. | spanmoor
06/9/2007 15:38 | grlz - Have a look on Google for Michael Masterman and Annaconda. ;-) Should fill in a few gaps for you! | geoffcapes
05/9/2007 14:35 | and those who equate "cheap" with "good value" I guess.......not a valid assumption with this imo......there's a good reason these are trading at all time lows if people care to look...... | markinthepark
05/9/2007 14:26 | In a word NO markinthepark. This is a pig of a share. Those who made money are long gone and probably wouldn't touch again with a bargepole. Most who have lost have also gone except for a diehard few who are attracted here through morbid fascination. | volsung
05/9/2007 14:19 | Is there anyone who isn't losing money or who hasn't lost money here? | markinthepark
05/9/2007 13:14 | Domtheone - you must be down significantly to be so negative! | grlz
05/9/2007 10:16 | LMAO MM probably takes JT's advise when dishing out those downright lying RNS's. With respect to shareholders, nothing good can come from this now. CSH should be put to rest and then used as an example as to how a stock can list on Aim yet have the powers that be run the company with such blatant disregard to the markets/shareholders alike as to make the dealings of the Corleone family look law abiding. Aim is a disgrace and it's about time something was done about companies such as CSH and the kind of peeps who run them. | domtheone |
