enamel, if converted we will see a 25% dilution at 4p per share! And, that is for absolutely nothing.

It smacks of absolute desperation to me

how long will 200k last?
they are going to need a lot more than that if they are going to do anything with the infamous extension area.
lets take bets on how long it takes masterman to change his name again !
:)

Stuart14,

Nobody likes a placing. However, unless the company has working capital it will go bust. For Masterman to benefit from the exercise of his warrents, the company has to continue in existence. The higher the share price the bigger the gain, so MM has an incentive to turn the company around.

Well Masterman won't take my calls or respond to my mails.

This financing is desperate at best, criminal at worse.

For instance, Masterman has put up £200'000, and as part of that gets 5'000'000 warrants. They'll raise funds shortly, at which point he'll be paid back, plus interest at 4% over LIBOR.

So, he gets his money back, some interest, and then 5 million more share options at 4p a share.

Thanks Masterman. Some of us paid over 12x that for our first shares.

The company has to prove itself following many false dawns. If they win approval to explore the extension area or they acquire new mining assets, confidence will start to flow back. Until then the critics will have their say.

Stuart
I knnow they are shallow wells, but in the december report they said that the production was adversley affected by the workovers of some wells, and that 103 & 112 were expected to produce in Feb 07.
I expected better results, than an extra 10 barrels per day.

Because the wells are so shallow!

Production for the quarter ending 31 March 2007 was 12,000 barrels
12000 divided by 90 days = 133 barrels per day :-(

.............
The last quarters update stated:-
"Caspian Holdings PLC reported a production of 11,630 barrels
of oil for the quarter ending Dec 31, 2006, which was was adversely affected by
workovers of a number of previously productive wells including well 103.
Remedial work is continuing on well 103 and well 112 and both these wells
are expected to be in production in late February 2007.
The oil and gas production and exploration company in Kazakhstan also
reported commercial flows of oil at about 35 barrels of oil a day in December
from its recently drilled well 121.
The company said it will focus on increasing production and profitability
from its existing wells before it starts its next drilling programme mid year."
............
So this quarter we produced 370 barrells more than last ( if you include the 600 lost when the power failed, you get Extra productioon of 970 barrel, which is nearly 10 per day more.... woopee)

Why is production so low?

Yep, and along with that will carry out a new equity placing, at which point they will pay back the loan, leaving the investors with their money back, and options on 25 MILLION shares at 4p each!

I see my losses on CSH as offset against my gains elsewhere now. This deal sucks as far as i'm concerned.

The inference is that CSH will soon expand its licence or make an acquisition.

Great for some. Lovely 4p options for the next 3 years, with their money back on their loan as well!! Alright for some.

At least Masterman is sufficiently confident about prospects to have committed some of his own money. This is more than can be said for many other small oilers.

Domtheone,

Excuse me, but I would just love to finger your bare back bottom. You have top shares? I would just LURVE to have you onboard. Dom, you're a negative idiot wherever you choose to appear. Got you in LGB, and stuff

At least there are rules and regulations in a Casino.

Although saying that, the Yank who likened the AIM to a Casino was upset having just lost out on their unsucessful attempt at a takeover of the LSE (of which AIM is part of!!)

Indeed he is a brave man.

I've never had the misfortune to own shares in a company as crooked as CSH before.

Sickens me to think I own a part (allbeit a zillionth lol) of a fraudulent company like this one.

bots24, I wish the powers that be would crack down on these companies (such as CSH) that are clearly run by crooks who do not have give a t*ss about shareholders. I'd fully expect that umpteen of these companies would go to the ground but so be it. Clear out the scum, tighten up the rules then the word AIM might have a shred of respectability again.

At this level it's looking like a v. strong buy ...

Only bought another 20k and the share price ticked up - LOL !

Don't think it will take much buying to get this back higher again.
