I would not be surprised if CSH has failed to meet the terms of its licence. Perhaps this is why it has been obliged to supply the domestic market.

He is not amenable anymore I'm sorry to say. He has his call divert on all the times I have tried. [still has]. In the early days he would answer but completely ducked any questions....

He is clearly buying time..... He knows he needs a result soon. I think 6 more months is enough.

Really getting a bit fed up with MM. Numerous emails [no response]and no explanation on the suspension extension..... All we seem to be getting are promises for tomorrow. Initially we had the Hillbillies approach to the potential for CSH. Extension promises. More excuses. Suspension. Now new projects. Only giving this 5 more months then out in New Year when he can find some other mug to pay his salary.

Something's going on here behind the scenes IMO.


Not going to fall for the MM tactics - they obviously seem to want stock.
Any further tree shake attempts should provide buying opportunuties IMO.

More likely that the market believes that this time exports really will be restored...the price is heading back to where it was in April when exports were suspended....

A year ago they were producing more than they are now......28k barrels over 6 months in the first half of 2006....and only 11k barrels in the last quarter to end June 2007......following this..

Quarterly Production Update

Production for the quarter ending 31 March 2007 was 12,000 barrels.

So that's 23k barrels this year compared to 28k last year........

From last year......

"Oil production increased 67% to 28,123 barrels of oil (six months to 30 June 2005: 16,874)"
