bloody hell, it's funny how attitude changes when someone is financially dependant on the recovery of a stock...

Let me quote "James Bond has saved Cineworld"

8.2 billion in debt and rising, this must be quite the film...

Would be lucky for Bond just to cover the interest...

Movie has received 5 star ratings from critics. James Bond has saved Cineworld. Some of the ArmChair CEO that were saying cinemas are dead will be dissapointed. I have never seen a cinema soo packed on a Weekday evening. Speaking to few young ladies there, the suggestion was most of the screenings have been booked for the weekend.

The numbers for this weekend will be huge. This could be the biggest box office takings ever seen. Forget 100p , i be suprised if we don't see a big recovery in share price over next few months.

A fantastic movie, absolute amazing. Everyone i think really loved it. It was Good to see the Cinema packed on a Thrusday night. It wasn't just the cinema tickets that were purchased, many were going full out on the popcirn etc...i think this is the turning point. Those that were saying, people will be staying home and cinema is dead, have got it wrong big time

Even today if you go on CINE website, most screenings are almost full at 70 to 80% capacity. Weekend even better.

Talking about numbers they will know how last night went and
how many booked for tonight, could do with some hard facts
rather than hope. RNS hopefully.

As things currently stand investors are pilling back into recovery stocks. My oil stocks are back in demand as well. 300p is still a long way but a recovery to 150p be very nice for many long term.suffering investors.

No harm shorting the stock , i reversed my position few weeks back . Only problem is shorts can be closed by brokers without even you wanting it to keep them opened. Don't forget some of the hedge fund managers will have to close short positions very soon. CINE is in very strong position this quarter.

The next 2 months have a strong slate. CINE is well behind on its minimum sales requirement so far this year. They'll want a strong enough period to at least get a placing away into strength. For shorts such as myself it is a case of watching and waiting. Unless the numbers are an absolute blow away then a re-entry after then will have both the information required to make a sensible judgement, and most likely a higher price from which to sell. Of course there is an edge case where a short would ill-advised, but that requires 2019 beating figures.
