I know of a certain Polish origin oil trader, who invested over £150k & persuaded friends & family to invest also!!!!!!! He was one of the ones who put me on to this share `early doors` & just happy that i got out with my `shirt`, just in time!!
If someone can `roger` a group of Boy Scouts, who on Earth (knowing that), would back him with their own money? As soon as i found out, it was `exit strategy into operation` & i was very lucky to catch a spike & was OUT!
Bought a few before delisting but only so that i could be a `shareholder activist`, rather than `talking from the sidelines`!!!
Now of course, some of us have the further problem of dealing with the incompetent management of Barclays Stockbrokers, who seem to be doing a very good job of destroying a once superb institution & turning into a 3rd rate execution only outfit!
For your info Pants, am nearly at the £1,000 in compensation & i am taking them to the ombudsman over other issues. Have opened a discussion forum about "The Misnomer called Barclays Smart Investor", so hope others can share their grievances?

Every so often Today 17:02 I see a post on CICC and think, oh yes, i wonder what happened to the £30k odd that I put in there.

Then i just forget about it.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

£30k down the drain. OUCH.

RE: Website Today 17:50 Yes......does not inspire new investors.
Won't the regulators look at his websites as part of their listing deliberations?
Stuart does not seem to read my emails properly.
I ask myself.....is he keeping these companies alive so he can flit around the world living the life of company director making a lot of business contacts on LinkedIn.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

"is he keeping these companies alive so he can flit around the world living the life of company director". Perhaps even macnai is finally waking up to reality of SB & CICC? About time! :-) Unfortunately share_shark will never be able to wake up to the reality of SB & CICC! She will always remain blissfully ignorant.

Evidently macnai and others on the lse bb are having problems accessing the CIC Fund web site.

According to macnai the "The web site still sucks" and posts the following "Stuart thinks it is my Windows PC and if I refresh the screen it should cure the problem. He should know because in 1981 he had a computer manufacturing business in Austrailia."

Did he really, macnai? Have you any independent verification that SB had "a computer manufacturing business in Austrailia"? It's worth remembering what the Australian judge said about SB in the boy scouts court case, macnai.

PS. Glad to hear you are not into "fantasies" these days, sparty. It's a shame that macnai wont wake up and smell the coffee and stop his fantasising. He should learn not to believe SB's CV without independent verification. You really ought to tell macnai, sparty, to stop being so gullible!

LOL fantasies I do not need.I have everything, and have done almost everything I wanted to do.
Incidentally I have earned far more from aimers than ftsies over the years although I now tend to invest or "gamble" very little cash.
If you look at the major airline charts from the last few years they have provided multiple opportunities for trading.RYA WIZZ EZJ have allowed my partner and I to double our portfolio`s worth in 18months.
Cicc has become a curiosity not a fantasy.I do not need the cash but I so not want SB to have it either.

Difficult to see how you two persons have the courage to invest in any companies or think about other people in a positive way.
I have given the heads up on two outstanding companies......time will tell.
Goodbye.......I will not be reading your replies to this post so don't bother.

"On the 4th April, I mentioned two stocks on the LSE CIC Mining board.
Take a look. They are constructing strong businesses and should be billion-plus companies in the not too distant future."

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And what, macnai, have they got to do with CICC?

This is your post, macnai, from 4th April:

CICC 2 Stocks I 0wn 4 Apr '18
Two stocks about to hit the big time. Please do your own research but news on both expected this week.

Poet Technologies.....PTK on the TSX Venture exchange in Canada, POETF in the USA.
Good info at Agoracom

Amfil Technologies AMFE on the US Pink sheets but moving up to a better exchange after the full Audit hopefully this Friday

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I know nothing about these 2 companies, but if I had a £1 for every post I've read on these advfn AIM bb's, made by Walter Mitty fantasists, that the AIM minnows they have invested in will soon be billion-plus companies, I'd be a rich man by now. Your 2 companies might be examples of the rare exceptions to the rule that most listed minnows and start ups fail to deliver. Your 2 companies may prove to be an Asos (ASC) and be stellar performers, but I think the odds are stacked against you. Anyway, the best of luck. I think you'll need it. Dream on, buddy. :-)

PS. The CICC (then CICR) share price performed dismally during the time it was listed in Canada (2005-2010), having lost over 90% of it value from it's high when delisted and lower than it's float price. I hope your 2 companies do better!

PPS ."I like to be constructive.
It can be fun to destroy things but it is much more satisfying in the long-term to build something".

And pray tell me what you are building? You're just a gambler investing in a couple of speculative shares!

`Little`Mac - The difference between "constructive" & being a "total fantasist", is evident in almost all your posts, as you seem to be even further gone than Sparty Pants (or Misnomer, when he posts on LSE)!
Believing a good second hand car salesman is understandable but continuing to believe ever word he says, when the car has been proved to be a crock of sh1t, has been clocked, never had an engine & is falling apart at the seams is the result of you either being very naive or you just being plain Stewpid - my bet`s on the latter!!!!!!!!!

I will remain positive about the CIC companies until I know different and if they fail I will learn from my mistakes and move on and not look back.

A flurry of posts today (12 so far) on the lse CICC bb. Reading them it reminds me of the title of a Shakespeare comedy, "Much Ado About Nothing" :-)

macnai seems to be the most delusional of the CICC fantasists these days. A true heir to Walter Mitty's crown. LOL.

Re Bunty..gawd yes!I`m getting hard just thinking about it... :) slightly less entertaining than the Victor.
Thanks for the prompt reply ,glad to know you are monitoring. Re £4K I once spent almost that on a set of golf clubs..it`s not the money,I do not need money thank goodness. There is a principle involved.Incompetance I can forgive, have forgiven BOD`s in the past.Downright fraudulent behaviour is different.
Looking at whats gone on there is no reason for SB to drag this out as far as us tiny shareholders are concerned. He could have just done what so many have and gone into admin and walked away.
He does have however, some very powerful investors who may not be as forgiving.
Not sure what "swim with the fishes" is in Mandarin. :)

An interesting post, sparty, despite the "typos".

You are definitely NOT a realist. If you were you would have written off your CICC/CICG investment sometime ago. If you are to be believed you are currently down around £4k on your investment. That's similar to the money I spent on OXS shares in the hope they would win their arbitration case against the Uzbeks. Unfortunately OXS lost! I wrote that money off; a gamble that never came off. I hardly ever read and never post on the OXS bb's, even though others continue to do so since there is an appeal ongoing against the original arbitration decision.

"The Bunty"? Never read it, sparty. Strange that you mentioned it, since I believe it was aimed at girls. Did you enjoy reading it? :-)

Which Today 15:51 Exchanges are we listing on Mars or Jupiter?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Neither of those. Both of the stock exchanges on those planets have very strict vetting procedures. I think the Cloud Cuckoo Land stock exchange is a far better bet. It has pretty lax regulations; similar to those of AIM, in fact!

I thought you wrote the Beano, sparty? Your posts on the lse CICC bb are a work of comic genius. I love the way you portray yourself as a deluded fantasist believing everything you are told by SB. I believe the comic writing duo of you and bottomsup are on a par with Dennis Norden & Frank Muir. How the pair of you keep a straight face when writing your posts on the lse CICC bb simply amazes me.

Mixi - you would not know a fact, even if it hit you in the face!! If you believe anything that comes out of Stewpid`s mouth, you deserve to loose the rest of your pension!
Pants - loads of Yaks in Mongolia - almost as many as corrupt politicians & expect Stewpid knows them all - intimately!!lol

Not if Stewpid is in it first - they do have weight limits after all!!!!!!!!
Would love to hear that Stewpid & Barsofgold had visited & been arrested for defrauding the Mongolian State. However, if that happened, virtually every politician, civil servant & businessmen in that corrupt state would suffer the same fate & there would not be a prison big enough to fit them all!!!!!! Pity, as the day in `the clink` Stewpid `suffered` in Australia, before he `fled the country` was a travesty & he deserves to lead the rest of his life behind bars (of the prison variety).
