Yes, the jurisdiction point is extremely important, more so than has been mentioned before, lack of such is the end, confirmation of it was a winner on so many fronts for CHL.

I just had a quick look at your link but did not see the relevance or comparism as the court decided they had no jurisiction.
ICSID on the other hand have jurisdiction in our case which is a major difference ?

All those years ago when we won the juridiction case the market rejoiced and the share price race to 78p I think.

A buy of over 45K just gone through. It is them kind of sizes that makes me think there is more to this buying than meets the eye.

i hope so, last time when this start flying a bit early the director sold a small amount share price stopped climbing, hope he doesnt sell again. 7 Trading days to september, im confident the verdict will be issued early sept.

If chl is going to fly on speculation then it should start this week. Not saying that it definitely will, but people will be looking for opportunities now that everybody has got excited by a rising market and hopefully all have made some money from whichever stocks they hold. I've had a great month with different shares. CHL now offers one of the best 'big' return possibilities IMHO for the next month.

I dont expect many sellers this week or into and beyond the bank holiday.

CHL will be featured in many newspapers over the coming week. Imho.

Perhaps this is the week when we may get an indication on whether OOC settlement talks are taking place, and a ball park figure of what D.Q. is prepared to accept.

Would very much prefer the end of this to end with ooc, much quicker payment, with no hassle.

Hopefully a very good blue week up to 40p and beyond, without an announcement, assuming an ooc settlement announcement, £1.80p. Imho.

We have a lot of serious longterm holders who are just sitting back relaxed it does not mean the thread is to be used for off topic please.

They have put aside £5.75m to purchase 4.25m shares. There is no timescale as far as I am aware also the shares will be held and will not be cancelled. They may flog them later on who knows.

Worth remember as of yet they have only purchased 250k shares. They can buy another 4m shares. Sp last week was only 48p now its 77p. Not many shares available in open MKT. Most are tightly held.

I know this is chl thread sportsbilly asked the question. I think chl will be moving very shortly.

Neo,For maya - what timeframe do they have to buy the shares...and that is a maximum allocation is it not?Doesn't mean they will chase the share price up to that level to buy the shares.Back to CHL - please all look after it as I'm cycling across the Pyrenees this coming week, back after the bank holiday :)

ColeyYup, that's the likely scenario. But it all depends if Noor and Prabowo are mentioned in the report by the tribunal. It will be all embarrassing for roi and world media will be taking a dig and having an opinion in Indonesia.Maya has a lot to go yet, management prepare to pay £1.37 per share to buy 10% of share capital back. Not many shares about. Hopefully will be over £1 next week.

with settlement prior to forgery verdict looking unlikely, what if first thing monday morning we get a surprise of a settlement when we least expect it.

thanks, it was Jacub who pointed it to me. Its a no brainer, company ipo'd last year lost over 60% value for no reason. Its a profitable company, company currently buying back 4.2m shares, so far only bought 250k back. Look how it has moved. Very limited stock.

82% is out of public hand once buyback complete over 92%.

Its a no brainer.

GREAT ALL MY STOCKS BLUE TODAY. ;)

The walls are also closing in on roi too so expecting better from CHL.

Well done on MAYA. If anyone sells Churchill to buy another share then we can only make sense of it when that share they buy does a decent rise. As some of us like me can never understand the concept about reducing risk. For me its because I have always been a gambler.

After Churchill I will not be going all in again.
