15/8/2016 08:30 | More blatant manipulation going on here.Somebody has supposedly just sold with conditions - usually extended settlement - a block of 3294 shares at the bid price.Looking back through the reported deals of the last five weeks there has been no buy part of the deal which beggars the question of how can the MM's close a deal that was never opened in the first place ? Any explanations of how this could be a genuine trade would be appreciated. | theunluckyone
15/8/2016 08:18 | Dont get me wrong Im happy whichever way it goes as long as we win the forgery dismissal case. As many have stated we would have a rerating and if we cant settle soon after it will be because DQ is hanging in for more. IF WE WIN its win win whichever way it goes. | debbiegee
15/8/2016 07:55 | I also green ticked Baxters excellent post but he did not mention that we have reason to believe that at least twice their have been unsuccessful settlement talks. So still more than 1 outcome possible | debbiegee
15/8/2016 07:47 | we will see ! More than 1 plausible scenario here | debbiegee
15/8/2016 07:42 | In that scenario I think CHL will be looking for a higher settlement price and rightly so! | pembury
15/8/2016 02:06 | well that's the plan... | neo26
14/8/2016 22:28 | Yes excellent Baxter that is exactly how i see it too. | pug151
14/8/2016 22:04 | Yep - nail on the head IMO | coley15
14/8/2016 21:51 | All highly likely Baxter but dont forget we have had 2 occasions to think they have been in talks. So we have the logical and the speculative sequence of events. Dont forget though this is CHL which has never ceased to surprise us with the next twist no matter how well we have forecast. | debbiegee
14/8/2016 21:35 | Understandably, Churchill’s share price is under close scrutiny by those invested. It should be understood that Churchill is a minnow. Few in the UK are aware of Churchill (mining), never mind the legal case. From ROI’s viewpoint, the arbitration case is no more than a mosquito bite on a summer evening. If it goes against them (likely) it will be a temporary itch, an inconvenience at most and a minor embarrassment (ROI still have the asset). An out of court settlement is unlikely in my opinion. ROI will let the arbitration run its course – political reasons for early settlement do not have merit as any quantum decision is unlikely for couple of years (a week is a long time in politics, so ignore anything more than a year away). Furthermore, a settlement is effectively an admission of guilt, as opposed to holding hands up and saying “we was robbed”. An active admission of guilt rather than a passive, hostile and unjustified verdict (in their eyes). The speculative share price rise during August is a given and there will be more froth in early September. The inevitable ICSID adjudication will likely favour Churchill with a significant and speculative re-rating based on final settlement. Then there will be the wait for quantum. Share price likely to drift but significantly higher than current. But then again, Churchill does throw up random surprises along the way. This is not a ramp. It is how I see it as a CHL investor and trader for five years. | baxter99
14/8/2016 21:23 | Ross, I like your strategy.Optimistic but also slightly cautious. You are correct in that nothing is certain until it is in black and white.Good luck to all holders. | daddy warbucks
14/8/2016 21:08 | Neo see my earlier post ,it would appear it did not bother market. debbiegee 14 Aug'16 - 10:27 - 6998 of 7016 0 0 edit I dont think so pug as the market continued buying after rns RNS was at 9.12 am 28 -28 25. at 9.10 am 28.25-28.50 at 9.15 am 29-30.25 at 10.19 Perhaps it reached a strategic point [see chart ] for profit taking or even a few shorts. People were then happy to buy back at 27 or have another oportunity to buy under 28.37 | debbiegee
14/8/2016 20:59 | Deb I have decent holding here, I consider it a lot of money. Does the director disposal not worry you?I recall lgb, learnt expensive mistake from their. Directors can be dodgy. That dodgy rybak was disposing his stock when Pearson CEO was ramping the stock.Good to get balance view. | neo26
14/8/2016 20:48 | I bought because I think it will go up, however, because I bought it will likely go down. Now there is a ramp and de ramp. How many points for that? | nixonpaul
14/8/2016 20:36 | Im not ramping its what I think ! LOL :-) I have seen far worse from those that ramp 1 day and deramp the next ! | debbiegee
14/8/2016 19:54 | stop ramping debbie or i will ban u from the board | mrshaungcm
14/8/2016 19:43 | Its only a couple of weeks till September and I tip if the result is in our favour Roi will want to settle before the public announcement. We all had a good idea of a settlement price before the forgery dismissal case and [if dismissed] I think the price to keep us quiet with their backs against the wall would be higher now. | debbiegee
14/8/2016 18:35 | Agree with the above post. I'm not a big gambler but decided to risk £3750 last Friday all or nothing. Got 15k odd for roughly 25p. Very nearly went big (ish) time on OXS, obviously glad I didn't. I do feel it's a much better story here. | nixonpaul
14/8/2016 17:38 | so a small number of shares sold is totally insignificant in the great scheme of things | mrshaungcm |
