22/4/2016 13:12 | We have had the shares suspended before, when decisions are imminent from the ICSID. I expect the same again to keep an orderly market.Any deal for an out of court settlement would make sense if it were announced after/ before trading hours to allow that. Even better if it was announced on a weekend. | daddy warbucks
22/4/2016 13:06 | The current price retains an orderly market, can you imagine the chaos if this even went to 45p never mind the £2 mark in anticipation of the analysts numbers being proved correct. Better the boring mind numbing wait we have endured for, in my case nearly 3 years, others much longer. | stephen1946
22/4/2016 13:04 | nav, just speculation currently on the "if" they reach a settlement. Mkt pricing in no deal and the case/award to drag on. Also a few traders exiting for other stocks too having come in on Wednesday | sportbilly1976
22/4/2016 13:00 | this doesnt make sense!! mkt thinks this will fail | nav1000
22/4/2016 12:59 | "City analysts believe that if the company reaches a settlement with the Indonesian government, it could receive a cash lump sum of around $9.70 per share. Or, in sterling terms, approximately 670p per share,If the company reaches a settlement, its shares could rocket." I'd call receiving £6.70 a share when the current share price is sub-20p slightly more than rocket!! | sportbilly1976
22/4/2016 12:56 | Think this will rise a little towards close! IMO Some News is likely during next week if only to say the Tribunal are or aren't going to issue a demand or procedural order! | frak
22/4/2016 12:48 | If ROI were to throw in the towel when would they do it? Before, during or after Jokos return? Not before.. it would make it look like he's coming with a peace offering and be seen as weak! Not during.. last thing he wants is that sort headline whilst he's actively looking for investment! On return.. best timing! In the spirit of good relations and commitment, we're dropping the accusations against Churchill.. but just look at the deals we've come back with! It must surely be the best window for them to exit without looking like complete kn*bheads. | frak
22/4/2016 12:38 | City analysts believe that if the company reaches a settlement with the Indonesian government, it could receive a cash lump sum of around $9.70 per share. Or, in sterling terms, approximately 670p per share,If the company reaches a settlement, its shares could rocket. Key development The decision by Isran Noor not to attend the hearing is a surprising development. Mr Noor held the office of Bupati (the head of local government) of East Kutai before his recent resignation. As a result, Mr Noor was considered to be one of Indonesia’s key witnesses — his non-attendance could help sway the Tribunal. The long-running dispute between AIM-listed Churchill Mining (LSE: CHL.L -news) and the Indonesian government over a coal project took another turn on Wednesday when the company reported that its opponent had failed to make its latest payment in the arbitration process. The case is being handled at the Washington-based International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. | spartikas

In East Kalimantan, Governance Improvement Commission Push Oil and Gas Details Published on Friday, April 08 2016 00:00 Reads: 265 "We want to recognize menemu governance issues including Minerba Migas we've done some time ago. Gradually we got down to all regions in Indonesia to coordinate supervision (Korsup), "said Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Agus Rahardjo in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan on Wednesday (6/4). "There are 3,900 mining permits are not clear and clean throughout Indonesia. If there is no improvement through preventive mechanism, then the legal action in the form of forced action taken, "he said. In response to this, East Kalimantan Governor Awang Ishak Faroek appreciate the effort the Commission in considering the condition of the management of the energy sector in the region. Because, during Kaltim known as the 'granary' national energy less attention from the central government in terms of its management. "We are grateful that there is a concern of the Commission's activities. Hopefully this is able to open and solve the problems we face during this time, "said Awang. In this, the Commission has expanded its coverage in the sector of Mineral and Coal Mining (Mining), Electricity and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE). 22/4/2016 11:27 | I added some earlier, this is me done until the outcome of the hearing. I have a lot more confidence in CHL, I suggest you do your own research....will give you a better idea what a mess this case is and the corruption that exists in the ROI. Only a matter of time....also think the board are handling the situation very well by coughing up the 200K and keeping the pressure on. I would not be surprised if they are playing hard ball with the ROI, they have every right to after all they have invested a lot of their personal money like us! hxxp://www.kpk.go.id | spartikas
22/4/2016 11:10 | pat there is no news in the next few weeks, and as we know aim shares need news or they drift. The company is also almost out of cash, if you think they will break the habit of a life time and not raise cash on the back of a share spike well good luck. Target 10p. | snake
22/4/2016 11:05 | I think we'll see a wall of buying when GCM's finished rising, as a similar high risk reward play. | bones30

22/4/2016 10:24 | Fair enoughPersonally I feel that if we win tribunal then we will be taken over by someone who wants to take this to the endThat way the directors and shareholders who are in much higher will pay less cgt better than a divi! | patviera
22/4/2016 10:12 | You would still be able to get your money out by selling your shares and there wouldn't be any special dividend tax to pay. | daddy warbucks |
