01/10/2015 19:13 | Some good posts here today :-) I would like to add about the binary bet if we win/lose this case. a]it has already been RNSd that we are no lpnger suspected of fotgery b] there may or may not be a case for estoppel should it be found that we were sold forged licenses c] The fact that we paid our dues to the correct goverment departments [therefore we were acknowledged and our money was taken] may mean that they could not enforce estoppel So we can hardly lose but the there could be a chance that the claim or the payout would be less, On the other thread estopppel was discussed and researched so if you type it into the search button all posts on the subject can be read. | debbiegee
01/10/2015 18:34 | patviera, I believe CHL has a very good chance of winning the case or OOC settlement. Why? because what ever happens, Indonesia are in a loose loose situation. They loose the case and payout or they win the case and the international investment community choose other countries to invest before Indonesia. See the article - The multiple efforts to attract investment via stimulus and tax incentives Indonesia all cost money, and they seem more and more desperate for investment due to the slowing growth. Why not settle with CHL?? it would be very good publicity if they use the right moment and find a good excuse / scapegoat. They could possibly reuse the world class coal deposits licenses auction them off. As Tom mentioned, this is a binary bet. Don't invest what you cannot afford to loose, and it would be 0p if we did loose. However, if CHL win the upside is many multiples of today price, the directors know this and are being paid in shares, the major investors know this and have provided finance multiple times, they also have insider knowledge of day to day proceeding. We also have a major investor which was elected minister of the Indonesia government when the new president took over, although he is no longer.. wonder why? So when Tom mentions about the share price falling, look back at how quickly things move when the market really knows whats going on, its not 1p or 2p per day movement - a bit more dramatic :) | j0no5
01/10/2015 16:14 | The price is dropping on very little volume, obviously to entice buyers, but with no news that wont happen to any degree. I just ask myself, "can I afford to be out?" With my luck, if I got out for a short time, the price would rocket. patience. | stephen1946
01/10/2015 15:57 | In my opinion its all guess work, the market seems to have an opinion of its own.No offence to rossannan but he knows no more than anyone else. | tom111
01/10/2015 15:31 | IMHO, As it so happens, ross is probably the best source of unbiased opinion on here. so I might add is the author, and both are honest. | stephen1946
01/10/2015 13:40 | patviera Ross knows nothing spin of a coin situation, the share price is getting worse every day | tom111
01/10/2015 13:36 | tivoli, i have no plans to enter CHL | giant steps
01/10/2015 13:06 | This is what i talk about, totally hilarious. The posts from debs about settlement soon that in the passing of time never ever turn out to be correct, and she then she just starts the whole process again and everyone plays along. Anyone can join in you just need the ability to completely forget all her previous posts saying the same thing for almost 5 years. Should see the teens on soon here, no news due until February, Main hearing not even started yet, nothing to support this price. | debbie_does_dallas_twice
01/10/2015 13:00 | RossIs the court case an all or nothing? Is this binary? What in your opinion is the chance of a settlement? And what will the shares be if we win the court case? | patviera
30/9/2015 19:04 | let me remind you how it goes, well how it goes on CHL anyway - form 50p to 23p just like Dallas "sarcastically told you" Still that doesn't stop Debbie (you) stop perpetually alluding settlement is days away in every post over the last 5 years does it now. I dont think i will buy at 10p , i think i will wait until 2019 to pick thesse up at 3-4p. very kindest regards. The Dallas | debbie_does_dallas_twice
30/9/2015 16:11 | I just forget how the saying goes, but I know it ends, "is the lowest form of wit" | stephen1946
30/9/2015 15:17 | If Oxus wins then Giant Steps will have to do it all over again with Churchill. I think every single one of us here also hold shares in Oxus. | tivoliworldgaming
30/9/2015 14:01 | if OXS wins then people will buy here as the next ....one.... all good... | moreforus
30/9/2015 13:50 | i said it.... | sos100
30/9/2015 13:48 | if oxs wins it might be a short term rise here but this aint really a trading stock (having said that traders seem to be doing quite well here!) i see Joko still desperately trying to encourage foreign investment... | sos100 |
