Don't expect good news when figures are released later this week, in my opinion, as there was that acquisition to take in to account. Yes, it appears this year has been slow, but the business is still solid and there are a couple of new products coming out.

I'm in for the ride.

Well my partner has been in touch with the chaiman today. This is what was said:
Firstly those who say that they are hoping for a T/O are incorrect. He said that they are not looking for a buyer for the company.

Secondly he said that trading has been difficult, they've had some funding problems, but that some very exciting "new products" are going to be announced within the next week or so which he believes will turn the company's fortunes around within the next 6 months.

I see my name being taken in vain again on this thread.

Look as I've said a number of times there's something going on with Chromogenex and an unnamed company in the US. I don't know why some mugs around here are questioning this. The situation is as always - first they come and check everything out including the financial position of the target company then they go back and put it to their board for consideration - that's exactly where we are now and thst is quite obviously what's taking the time. My guess is that it will be before results must be released which is by the end of this month.

Well we were in touch with the company this morning. Results will definately be posted before the end of June. Apparently the Canada thing delayed the results. Dealing in these shares will definately not be suspended. According to what was said the results will not be too bad.

This thread is becoming a circus! We've got "8trader" AKA spud versus "battyman2" AKA the_professor!!

I am seriously considering creating a new thread for CGX. I really cannot believe that Chromogenex is in big trouble. They have never given us any reason to think such nonsense. I'm going to ask my partner to give them a ring and find out the facts.

Can you give another reason why the negotiations are taking so long and that no one from the Company are available to speak to??

Also bear in mind that this share will be suspended - FACT - if they don't pull their finger out and post their Results within the alloted time frame. Then you won't even be able to sell at 0.001p.

Just take a look at SHS on Plus if you doubt my words.

dislike to people like you that create usernames to spam this site
trying to suck innocent people into buying bad stocks.

Every popular thread you were on with the same CGX ramp, look at
the trades on Monday, oh yes there was none, dont you lot learn
that spamming puts people off buying a stock not encorages them ?

This thread has become full of a bunch of really miserable people including spud, posting the most downbeat comments as well as deramping a stock that they know blow all about i.e. our friend "8trader" or whatever his/her handle name is. It wont suprise me howevr to see the whole lot of them buying fiercely once the T/O news breaks.

Springbok - Want to take a bet? Your predictive track record is worse than anyone I've yet to come across on any BB. It's pure speculation and wildly inaccurate guesswork - and that's being polite.

Face facts, McGuinness just can't get anyone to buy his Company for any meaningful price - End of.

One has to laugh at this incredibly unsavoury character "8trader" who used to be "quotes4all" and goodness knows how many other names he's got, coming on here and lambasting the dear professor (may he rest in peace). Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Anyway I can tell everyone that finally the lot awaited news will be appearing next day or 2. A nice time to get a few extra shares at this low price!!

By the way, the other scenario is, we may see a big buy in the bext 24hrs at around mid price Reason for this is that McG obviously wants to offload some of his shares, so we might see a large "c trade" meaning that he's managed to sell a few. The important thing will be who he sells to, someone who can turn the company around we can only hope.
