Could be but he's right about the T/O. The markdown today makes it a certainty IMO. Interesting that they mark down the offer and not the bid. Looks more or less now that the eventual T/O price is going to be around 4p. Bad news for all investors in this one.

This has been ramped up all over the place, sadly that wont help the holders one bit.

No suprise there, spud it's obvious that the price has been walked down by the MMs probably Hoodless took the lead as they are the company's official broker. I think you may be wrong about 3p. Doubt whether McG would take so little for his tranch of shares? I still think he'll try to get in the region of 4p - 5p per share. Course you are probably right as to why the talks are protracted. Whoever it is doesn't want to go very high., but it'll be around 4p in the end IMHO.

Have had it confirmed that the Company is seeking a buyer and is in protracted talks. Cannot confirm the price but would be surprised if they realise anything much above 3p.

I decided to look at how many companies in the same field as Chromogenex might be interested in in a take over. Found 2 or 3 of course there are always the venture capitalists but I suppose they would find CGX too small?

Anyone know what Chromogenex's debt situation is? It's look around 800k which I suppose is not too bad considering their assets.

My apology to all regarding the results. However, I think it's clear to all what's going on here now, price is being manipulated downwards for the simple reason that whoever it is that's taken the hook doesn't want to pay very much for the company. Could be only 2.5 - 3 million which equates to 4p - 5p a share if we're lucky.

It really does depend on whether or not McG finds a buyer, it's going to have to be pretty soon I think.
