10/6/2008 11:34 | Could be but he's right about the T/O. The markdown today makes it a certainty IMO. Interesting that they mark down the offer and not the bid. Looks more or less now that the eventual T/O price is going to be around 4p. Bad news for all investors in this one. | battyman2
09/6/2008 17:06 | I suppose it will be one of the professor's aliases. I hate rampers esp on other threads. spud | spud
09/6/2008 11:30 | Yes .. still being ramped today. Flogging a dead horse is a great way to waste time LOL | ![]() ihavenoclue
05/6/2008 21:23 | Linslader might do when the MM's decide to leak the news. Obviously keeping a lid on things just to keep the price down I'm afraid. | battyman2
05/6/2008 18:14 | Countdown to tomorrow..... | trghe1
05/6/2008 17:44 | This has been ramped up all over the place, sadly that wont help the holders one bit. | ![]() linslader
04/6/2008 20:16 | Does this mean that we're only going to get 3 - 4p back on our investment? Well I suppose that the shareprice should respond to the T/O rumour. | dina
04/6/2008 19:36 | No suprise there, spud it's obvious that the price has been walked down by the MMs probably Hoodless took the lead as they are the company's official broker. I think you may be wrong about 3p. Doubt whether McG would take so little for his tranch of shares? I still think he'll try to get in the region of 4p - 5p per share. Course you are probably right as to why the talks are protracted. Whoever it is doesn't want to go very high., but it'll be around 4p in the end IMHO. | battyman2
04/6/2008 17:03 | Have had it confirmed that the Company is seeking a buyer and is in protracted talks. Cannot confirm the price but would be surprised if they realise anything much above 3p. spud | spud
04/6/2008 07:16 | I decided to look at how many companies in the same field as Chromogenex might be interested in in a take over. Found 2 or 3 of course there are always the venture capitalists but I suppose they would find CGX too small? Anyone know what Chromogenex's debt situation is? It's look around 800k which I suppose is not too bad considering their assets. | dina
03/6/2008 20:59 | spud, yep no response. However the MD is apparently on a mission. | battyman2
03/6/2008 15:05 | Don't expect a response. spud | spud
03/6/2008 07:07 | I'll try to sound out the company today see if I can find out anything myself. might get a hint you never know /.. | battyman2
03/6/2008 07:06 | Springbok, do you know when this deal is expected to be announced?? | battyman2
02/6/2008 14:51 | My apology to all regarding the results. However, I think it's clear to all what's going on here now, price is being manipulated downwards for the simple reason that whoever it is that's taken the hook doesn't want to pay very much for the company. Could be only 2.5 - 3 million which equates to 4p - 5p a share if we're lucky. | springbok
02/6/2008 13:52 | Has anyone been in touch with the company? I can't believe that I'm the only very worried person around here! | dina
02/6/2008 13:31 | It really does depend on whether or not McG finds a buyer, it's going to have to be pretty soon I think. | battyman2
02/6/2008 09:07 | Just beginning !? | goodgrief
01/6/2008 16:01 | Does anyone know what's happening? Things are beginning to look bad here. | dina
27/5/2008 14:35 | Only light on the horizon is that this can rise fast just as quickly as it's fallen. All depends on what McG is up to! | battyman2
27/5/2008 14:31 | Going to drop because no news at all of the hopeful T/O. Other reason could be because thy're try to massage the results. | battyman2
27/5/2008 14:29 | Oh dear.... It had to happen eventually i suppose. There's only so long you can keep pulling the wool over the punters eyes (and delaying the Results). spud | spud
27/5/2008 10:24 | Sudden drop in the bid price from 3.25 to 2.75. Impressive. | ![]() bertie bee2 |
