Hi,Jacob.I,too, have a nominee account - and quite a few CGX shares.I also have shares in some other delisted companies. The shares seem to be sitting quite happily in the nominee account.
I suggest that you contact your broker if you think that there might be a problem. My brokers say there won't be.As for trading the shares on a matched bargain basis,my brokers say there would be no problem if they decide to use JP Jenkins.I haven't asked them about Sharemark, yet.[of course, the market itself might be thin].

I have quite a few CGX shares.

I would be grateful if anyone could tell me what happens to my shares once CGX delists from AIM? I have a nominee account.

Thanks in advance

My humble apologies to all. Better change the name of this thread to the "back to .03p CGX thread".

However, this might sound crazy to some but it just may be a good time to average down. I'm thinking about it - they sound positive about future prospects as well as finding a buyer for the company. Possibly get 3p or more for our shareholdings then?

Well, that is the other way of going private. It normally happens where a co has liabilities exceeding its assets. It does rather have the side effect of interrupting business - which CGX could do without considering its registration goof last year.Let's hope it doesn't happen here.
N.B. I can guess why that chap Oliver was offering to buy the DAG shares when they appeared to be worthless. He may have needed them to close out a short position.

Thanks,Battyman2,I've just skimmed through it.It is US based,of course. There are no pink sheets here. There is PLUS,and one or two market-matching services.
CGX certainly fulfils the requirements for going private,.I'd prefer PLUS to going private.Let's see what the company says.

Hi,Battyman2.I pasted the link to the address field, but it came back page not found. Is that what you meant? My email address is nonteadrinker@yahoo.co.uk
To be fair to the company,Dina,an Aim listing could be an expensive luxury for it in these tough times. However,if it goes,it may not be easy to get back.I have shares in three companies that were supposed to get listed eventually. They still aren't,and it doesn't look like happening any time soon.Since none of them pay a dividend, even if they do well, what good will it do me?

Good article, shakyhands. I've repeated above for those who might just occasionally visit this thread!

Looks to me that this product might just put CGX very firmly "back on the map" as long as they have full patent rights of course!

Is this Liarspoker bloke for real? He/she doesn't seem to hold any shares in CGx but continues to post drivel on the board every day. People like that should really get a life!

Liarspoker your silly gloating manner is out of place on this board. If this chap that you're accusing was the only holder left then you'd have a point, but there are I'm sure many people still holding CGX shares who would right at this moment dearly love to see the shareprice go in the opposite direction by hook or by crook. So I suggest that you take your imbecilic and inane comments to another thread.

It is credible, however.A lot of larger companies are having problems with IFRS,and one the size of CGX has to prioritise running the company.
Particularly since the shareprice is in the doghouse anyway.
