Prof, I'm beginning to wonder if McGuinness is not having second thoughts about retaining Branch. One really wonders what he can do to get this comp on people's radar screens which has not been tried already.

flateric - I presume he means that it's extremely difficult to get a decent price if you want to sell more then 200 shares! There is no doubt about it the
sentiment on this share is completely negative right now. Hope Branch has a recovery strategy??

thanks LS - they have been taking a few hits over the last week so I'm sure that they'll shut up shop until some positive news eventually arrives. The signs are good that they have sorted out the licence problem so IMHO we might just get an RNS at any moment. Can't believe that they'll wait until results time with the share price under so much pressure!

anyway anyone got level 2? I was wondering which MM is holding the 2.75/3.50 bid and offer? Probably HB as they are the house broker?

fascinating that the MM's are prepared to take a lot of hits at this level without dropping the price. I still think that either they are expecting some good news or someone is mopping them up in the background!

Prof, doesn't suprise me at all knowing the way this company has been run to hear that their distributor doesn't know what the heck is going on.
As far as the the shareprice being manipulated, well I'd be suprised even shocked if it's not. Don't forget that us PI's figure nought to these characters, if indeed an offer for the company is forthcoming after all this I very much doubt if it will be more then 5p a share.

geraldus - that's exactly what I'm thinking!!

IMO it's patently obvious that when Branch came in he severely rocked the boat. The question is why?? I could be completely callous and surmise that he deliberately created this problem in order to buy in at this ridiculously low price and eventually make a huge profit.

Also IMO this company is fairly sound with excellent products and still a huge potential market so is the share price being deliberately manipulated to make the company a very juicy take-over target? I can't think of any other reason for this strange situation - any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

they told me that they are actively marketing Chromolite and Nlite. Thay said that there is no problem with licences in Canada!!

the problem is that without a posiyive update from the management in the very near future I fear that the shareprice will drop further - I think that I'll attempt a call to the company to see if Branch has returned from his trip to Canada (and the US?)

The Professor - well I think that I might very well buy a few more just to average down. Seems like this is truely the bottom and if the CEO keeps his promise I see the shareprice recovering?

things are most definately looking more positive. I see that the MM's are quite happy to pay over the bid for a fair number of shares. Seems clear that someone is buying up a few in the background!

by the way, I noticed no buys at all yesterday and yet the share price rose - wonder if the MM's have got wind of something or maybe they are just trying to encourage some buys - or better still the CEO has indeed bought a few in the background!

thanks spud - I think though that Batty has called it about right although I would really hope to see the share price higher then 4.5 by the end of March!
