Not involved here anymore but agree that wording IMPLIES an EPS of around 68p.Hardly a disaster at this level i feel
Agree with Rivaldo has to go down as one of the worst worded RNS

Feel sorry for people who may have been stopped out because of stop losses as I feel this is going to recover sooner then we think. The statement should have said 'results will be ahead of current market expectations'.

I rather got the impression that they were trying to drive the price down. Perhaps I am misreading the signals. (ever the cynic ;-)

I've bought some back. Couldn't resist it, as the markdown was ridiculous, and the statement was possibly the most badly worded I've ever seen!

Given what I was expecting, about 70p EPS was an excellent performance - the RNS should have shouted this from the rooftops.

Surely MMs have this totally wrong as they don't know the history and are just looking at 30% off?

I've bought a load more on a spread bet as I think it should be up 15% not down 25!

I agree, it's actually a good statement worded in a negative way.
