30/3/2021 15:52 | For once less fleet of foot get to trade the news | williamcooper104
30/3/2021 15:44 | Nice timing you two Tempted but adding to LGEN and PHNX on weakness Sector still offering value IMOPhoenix ex div on Thursday | panshanger1
30/3/2021 12:19 | If they manage to maintain the 3% dividend growth rate (it has ranged from 2.9-3.1% since FY2012), the payout for FY21 ought to be approx 22.60p. If so, that would take my yield on cost to over 11% which would be most welcome. | speedsgh
30/3/2021 11:50 | dosser - go to Financials at the top here, then dividend history is half way down the page. All considered, the results were sound; but I think the Swedish and Dutch open businesses are proving something of a drag. | jonwig
30/3/2021 11:00 | My £570 divi in May. When should the next divi be, if any? | dosser50
30/3/2021 10:23 | Reaction neutral to slightly positive, getting back above £2.80 would be a start | makinbuks
30/3/2021 09:55 | A little top up for me, too, this morning. | aleman
30/3/2021 09:53 | Definitely. | elsa7878
30/3/2021 08:42 | OK not great figures but this is undervalued anyway. Div increase is either a signal of confidence in the future or a bit toppy. The rise in long term bond yields should surely have helped the share price | wizard2020
30/3/2021 08:36 | Topped up yesterday in anticipation of a good set of results. I'm not disappointed, these should do well today, but, the market can be a fickle beast. If they don't rise I hope to add some of my new ISA allowance here next week. wllm :) | wllmherk
30/3/2021 08:06 | It will do me along with Caml today Good high yielders and both liquid at that | ntv
30/3/2021 07:52 | Divi increased 3%.Well done Csn. | brucie5
29/3/2021 10:41 | Notes to Editors Chesnara is a life and pensions company listed on the London Stock Exchange. It administers over one million policies and operates as Countrywide Assured in the UK, as The Waard Group and Scildon in the Netherlands, and as Movestic in Sweden. Following a three pillar strategy, Chesnara's primary responsibility is the efficient administration of its customers' life and savings policies, ensuring good customer outcomes and providing a secure and compliant environment to protect policyholder interests. It also adds value by writing profitable new business in Sweden and the Netherlands and by undertaking value-adding acquisitions of either companies or portfolios. Consistent delivery of the Company strategy has enabled Chesnara to increase its dividend for 15 years in succession. NOTE LAST COMMENT | ntv
28/3/2021 12:23 | Surely the results cannot cause this to tank any further, and even if they were as expected that must be positive for the share price Life insurance liabilities should be booming in these COVID times. | deadly
28/3/2021 11:04 | Results out Tuesday. Ex Div 8th April. | killing_time
18/3/2021 16:51 | Not really, I mean its a life insurer at a time when interest rates are lower than at anytime in history. That means their liabilities are not heavily discounted on the one hand and they earn nothing on the cash they hold as security against those liabilities. But that's been the story for a decade so precisely why they are not back at the 2018 levels of £4+ I don't know. At the end of the day the price of any share is determined by the ratio of buyers and sellers and at the moment life insurance is not a popular sector | makinbuks
17/3/2021 17:07 | A long history of dividends , is there really any reason why their share price is not higher? | ntv
12/3/2021 14:48 | Yes, but the general theme is rotation. | brucie5
12/3/2021 13:49 | It's a lot harder to discover interesting stock specific situations than early November last year!. That's for sure. | essentialinvestor
12/3/2021 13:47 | I hold a little too but have much larger holdings in LGEN and PHNX If not PHNX then PE has to take over CSN - at some point | williamcooper104
12/3/2021 13:39 | I've bought a very small amount, still far from convinced. BOD holdings are arguably risible having double checked. Very different to PHNX in that respect, amoung others. Anyway, let's see what happens. | essentialinvestor
12/3/2021 11:32 | Yep LGEN and PHNX also offered outsized yields not so long ago | williamcooper104
12/3/2021 10:54 | EssentialInvestor12 Mar '21 - 10:51 - 1717 of 1717 0 0 0 Director holdings very low in my book, scant skin in the game. -------------------- EI, decide what you want from this, and then make a decision accordingly. It's not going to go off like a firework, but I believe it will go up. If you're happy with say 20% increase plus a divi, it's a good prospect. That would be a pretty good return for most folios. | brucie5
