There is a substantial number of supply ships and anchor handlers in Walvis Bay, all offshore oil industry vessels

Makes me think that the West Eclipse Ultra deep semi sub rig (berthed in Walvis Bay) must already have a contract, otherwise there are way to many a/h and supply ships available

The rig has spent the last 2 years in Angola with Exxon at a rate of $350k per day. A new contract is going to be much cheaper, currently $139k per day for a drillship. Two rigs drilling at the same time, really will ramp up the excitement one would think and just 2 weeks till kick off

I think we can expect a fair bit of news flow between now and then

ExxonMobil acquires stake in Namibian offshore block

Namibian offshore explorer Azinam has farmed out a 30 percent share in its Petroleum exploration license (“PEL”) 44, offshore Namibia.

I thought that was a typo, however looking at page 6 on the 2nd quarter results, it does show Tullow have the rig before September

Notice a European Major has a LOI for the rig after CHAR. No mention of who or what licence.

Could be subject to a farm out deal closing ?

Maybe with the sudden surge of interest in contracts they want to speed things up, if they do start tullow next week then chariot will drill before October you would think.

11.5p paid the other day, so I added at 9.4p-9.5p recently on the pullback.

Accumulate and hold for a few months and I dont see how this is not 15p-20p, added bonus of a potential farm in which could land anytime.

Yup, now in double digits put no where near fair value.

Prospect S success derisks 2billion barrels. The sort of $ numbers we are talking about are huge.

Risked value on Prospect S alone is 23p and that does not include their cash position or their other assets or the 2billion barrels that get derisked on Prospect S succcess.

Fair value well north of 20p currently and it multibags on farm in news. Reckon farm in news is just a matter of time now if you look at the activity going on in the area.

Buy the dips imo.
