Where this level of micro seepage has been discovered in other regions around the world, more than 80% have been associated with significant discoveries of hydrocarbons.

Conference call on Wednesday will no doubt clear a lot of the noise up.

Key points for me -

- How are farmin talks going across all prospects
- Is drill contract still on schedule Q4
- Can you confirm for a 3rd time, with or without farmin no raise necessary pre Prospect S drill

FWIW I added another few £k on Friday around 9p, will look to add substantially more on the above points being confirmed next week.

@tunnel

Dont forget AIM market only thinks weeks ahead, we are about to enter that window. Most money on AIM is hot money.

Dont focus on the price focus on the fundamentals. Price will follow sooner or later, currently uptrending from 7.5p lows so good enough for me.

Shame about the dip but still as confident as ever.

Drill is to big to ignore especially at 9p current share price, 338p success case...say 2months and the biggest drill on AIM in a very long time gets underway (in terms of market cap vs upside) almost 40x the current shareprice on success without including value on 2 billion barrels derisked.

Ofcourse drill success is only 29% but a 29% chance to make a potential 30-40x your money, if that does not excite the market over coming weeks I dont know what will.

The share price is heading in the wrong direction.Do people honestly think Larry is capable of getting any favourable farm out .Back onto the 8s suggests he is not .

Thank Jim

I also spoke to CHAR yesterday about confirming no raise prior to prospect S, yet again they confirmed this.

No doubt the CEO will confirm this again on the conference call.

So are the lying, I highly doubt it. All in all looks very cheap here.

The deal won't affect the current contracts for the Poseidon

Had this confirmed by AEC yesterday, who currently involved in the Cormorant well and about to increase their foot print in Namibia

The Transocean deal my be signed but is not due to close until Q1 2019

Tullow drill on schedule so no reason to suggest CHAR drill will not be in October/November.

Not bothered by a small dip we are off the lows and uptrending and fundamentals are as strong as ever, if not stronger with current oil price on highs. 338p success case, 30-40p risked case, 2/3rds cap covered by cash, show me another play that offers such upside.

I think the reason for the small dip is if you search twitter many trolls are coming out saying they dont have enough cash after Prospect S which is a complete lie. They have $10-$15million cash after prospect S and have no committments after S until Q2 2019 in which time they can easily close out a farm out for the next drill, $10-$15million covers admin fees etc for many years.

CEO will no doubt for the 3rd time clarify on the 12th no raise prior to Prospect S and update on on how farm outs are going across all prospects.

Bit of price movement possibly today revolving around Transocean's acquisition of Ocean Rig - Ocean Rig, ticker, Nasdaq, ORIG (read all about it!).

Would be nice for the PR team at Chariot to give an upbeat statement on this pending our drill with Ocean Rig at the mid/end of October! - 12th September does seem a long way off (Interims and next Conference call). Please DYOR. Steal.

Worth noting about Cormorant, nice if it comes of but not necessary for CHAR. Only 19% CoS.

"Prospect S is a different prospect type to Cormorant-1 - independence of risk --> Cannacord Genuity Report."

Great news.

Money where my mouth is added a few more a touch below 10p. I dont see how CHAR does not get the same reaction that PCL did to their cormorant drill, if not more.

We will see.

GBP is a good play on Namibia interest but it is worth noting CoS is much lower and they are a very long way of drilling.

I dont compare GBP to CHAR as CHAR is in a much stronger position but GBP is undervalued currently as cap is very low.

None of the above Namibian players have 3.66Bln barrels mid case or a single prospect over 1Bln barrels and a £5m m/cap (GBP) ;-)

Looks like Poseidon has moved out

Ray you should look at AFE and PCL.

They own interest in Cormorant and both climbed significantly starting about 2 months before the drill.

Prospect S is worth over 10x more to CHAR than Cormorant is to PCL yet PCL still climbed well over 100%. Simple market mechanics and an easy read across for the next few months.

Cormorant only 19% CoS prospect S 29% CoS, failure on Cormorant does not really effect CHAR but success slighlty reduces the risk.

Ooh dear, that’s with a pinch of salt surely? Namibia hasn’t exactly shown the way to giant oil fields yet! And Morocco isn’t finished either. Brazil? Let’s hope the oil is there too!
