I agree hangers

Absolutely no rush whatsoever, if this summer goes as well as expected may have a punt on the next well after the next highly probable fundraise. See what shakes down in terms of les arrivistes farming in.

I think after a raise a 4p punt price is more than feasible, until then...YAWN

Also from conference call:

No plan to equity raise before Prospect S drilling.

Also advised again that the previous raise opens up the prospect of farming out to non operators.

From iii, CHAR Conference Call Note this morning: We are in current negotiations in regards to a farm out of the Namibian block.

All going on in the back ground and no need to rns until an outcome I guess

Shame about the result, low CoS so not unexpected. Next drill now a long way off so nothing to get excited about for a while.

Maybe farmout lands soon if we are lucky.

Fair enough Joto, but this was a pure punt, with expectations of a dry/non commercial hole. As for Ophr, the irony is they have commercial finds but can't monitize!!

Wish i knew what the Americans based their value on...if it’s true that is!

Namibia? That's one heck of a risk too, there’s always the odd surprise though. But like the 1 in 10 risk we take that they find oil when drilling, It’s about the same for us when punting on those same small oilers.

Name of the game I’m afraid and the hangman doesn’t appear to get that fact when making his stupid comments.

Seems that I was bang on the money then, or at least our system works! Sorry for anyone not succeeding so far this year, I can’t ethically recommend any more wildcats at the moment although I hear there is a list; when we met Mike Buck from Matd earlier in the year there was an analyst from Panmure Gordon?? nice chap, only out of uni for a couple of years though.

I cant really rec Matd though as the optimal entry price is no longer available. On a positive note the Rabat well is yet more evidence that there is a negative reserves replacement ratio of approx 10:1

This augers well for anyone investing in O and G well beyond the ‘wildcat horizon’ and towards development. If you haven’t got both a system for exploration wells, experience and to be honest, cash I would really recommend properly investing over the medium term. Thats 5-10 au environs but for us it really means 10-15 as a guide.

Havent even looked at Char’s next well, plenty of time to evaluate, will have a look towards end of May probably.

The well had a 20% cos, yet people on here seemed to think it was a no brainer. Many wells are dry and 2 in 10 years isn't that many, but only drilling two wells at all in ten years wouldn't be great. The share price at 12p told you that it was highly likely to be dry, otherwise the r/r would have put the shares above 20p.
Oil is v risky and offshore Morocco isn't exactly GoM. If you play the blame game, I think you probably had too many shares....
The board didn't force you to buy the shares!

Those thinking this is priced at cash value are in for a disappointment in my humble. Even with the placing I'd estimate it is priced at twice cash value.
