In Namibia, Chariot has secured the Ocean Rig Poseidon to drill Prospect S in Q4 2018, independently estimated with a gross mean prospective resource of 459mmbbls and a probability of geologic success of 29%. This is one of five new structural prospects (S, T, U, V and W), ranging from 283 - 459mmbbls in gross mean prospective resources, and the well has the potential to de-risk a portfolio in excess of 2 billion barrels of gross mean prospective resources.

In Brazil, the Company has completed an evaluation of prospectivity and built a portfolio consisting of seven prospective reservoir targets individually ranging up to 366mmbbls in which a single vertical well located at Prospect 1 can penetrate three stacked targets which have a summed on-licence gross mean prospective resource of 911mmbbls.

The focus for H2 2018 is to deliver safe and cost-effective drilling operations in Namibia, to continue to partner throughout the portfolio and to build and mature the portfolio to deliver further funded drilling inventory. Chariot will continue to screen the market for potential value-accretive opportunities such as the back-in option Chariot has secured on Block C-19 in Mauritania.

Lot of over confidence here. Namibia is a virtually unproven province, with some very disappointing drills.

The Shell news was pretty major. Most missed it. Breaking into double digits was a key point. 6 months ago we were close to 25p without Shell involvement. Interesting play out here, I'd say getting in lower double digits is going to a great spinning point. At the very least a 1 bagger in this short term.

Almost 6million volume today and people keep paying premiums to get in. Certainly someone getting rattled to move in quickly.

Farm in news and this is worth 30p all day long. 15-20p without farmout.

Glad we have the Rabit Deep Morocco nonsense out the way, after 10 years of
watching these have decided to buy in, S/P near cash levels,trading at the bottom
of the range, Namibia & Brazil on their way, seemed mad not to, i also notice

Poseidon has another contract

The contract is expected to commence in direct continuation of the program with Chariot Oil & Gas Limited in the fourth quarter of 2018 and will be performed by the Ocean Rig Poseidon, and is subject to the negotiation and execution of definitive documentation and other approvals.



Obviously Ocean keen to highlight their progress in a suppressed market

Equally the European Major doesn't want to be named nor the destination revealed and is only a letter of intent currently

I would be very surprised if Ocean were to take the Poseidon away from Namibia as ECO and Azinam were probably next in line

Looks like someone has jumped the queue, to secure a cheap rate
