28/6/2013 13:44 | "Namibia is experiencing a resurgence of interest from major oil companies and junior explorers alike with near term, multiple drilling campaigns proximate to Westbridge's blocks. This acquisition positions Westbridge as the second largest acreage holder in the now proven, oil prone, Walvis Basin," stated Tosan Omatsola, CEO of Westbridge Energy. "The Licenses are an extension to our existing Block 1811B and more importantly contain oil shows in the 1911/15-1 well drilled on the Licenses in 1994. Westbridge's 5 Blocks are approximately 180 kilometers north of the recent technical discovery in the Walvis Basin by a Brazilian independent oil company, which demonstrates a potentially extensive and working petroleum system between the 2 wells." | crosswire

28/6/2013 09:19 | Paul I bought most of my gold down less than £100 a sov, and will continue to hold i might buy some more silver though, as silver as a bigger leverage, i wait and see, i do the cycles out of boredom and to see if any of the cycles actually work and so far been pretty reasonable, gold at the moment is like ASOS was at 1250 coming down from 2500 and now its 4100, gold will roar ahead in the next few yrs , just got to be patient | ![]() chestnuts
28/6/2013 09:09 | fair enough chesty, so are you still holding your gold through this correction and is there a price where youd cash it in? | tpaulbeaumont

28/6/2013 08:45 | simple yes, but of any pragmatic use? lets see :) how do you square the circle when the same calculation didnt forecast the twists n turns and depth of correction from 1921? GL | tpaulbeaumont
28/6/2013 08:35 | Just checked gold chart and around 1 am this am gold hit 1180, so using fib from 1921.6 and dividing 741 by 23.6 if 1180 was a bottom the next leg up would be 3142, now this doesnt surprise me and giving a top of 4322, and looking back on my notes of 3 yrs ago this was one of expected next leg up but i thought it would have happened sooner, so if you look at the 1st leg up on gold 253 to 1032 = 779 then 681 upto 1921 = 1240 1240 divided by 779 = 1.59178 1.59178 sq this = 2.53377 x 1240 = 3142 simple really | ![]() chestnuts
28/6/2013 08:32 | do you do any price studies on Gold aswell Chesty? | tpaulbeaumont

27/6/2013 19:37 | Extract from the Serica Chairman statement to day about their Namibian acreage. Interesting to note the industry interest in farming in if somehow BP do not elect to drill in Namibia. "From the analysis of our 3D data, work which is still on-going, we believe that we have a highly prospective licence which holds great potential. We believe now, particularly with the results coming in from other operators, that it is only a matter of time before oil is discovered in commercial quantities offshore Namibia which will have a commensurate uplift in the value of our blocks. Mitch will provide an update on what we are seeing shortly. BP has an option to increase its interest in the Namibian licence in return for meeting the cost of drilling and testing a well and we will know their decision in the latter half of this year. Whilst we await BP's decision we have already started early stage planning for the drilling phase since the size of the prospects, their clear potential and the demonstration by third party drilling of mature source rocks shown to have generated oil at the required depths offshore Namibia will support a drilling programme. Should BP elect not to increase their interest we will be following up with other companies who have expressed an interest in participating." So now we know the oil industry view of the Namibian oil potential- its only a matter of time before oil is discovered in commercial quantities. That's the significance of finding world class oil source rocks. The fundamentals keep getting better, Chariot and Serica are amazing investment opportunities if you can be patient and withstand the volatility. ps and TRP...;-) | ![]() moneymunch
