mm,

how do you know they were buys, serious? - all trades should be taken with a pinch of salt. trust none of it.

r007212 - scotslass claims to have 600000 shares(i think at 17p )when the pump is occuring.
she was also pumping up char with drilling east and that meteoric rise of 40 percent recently.

HRT don't look good , it's like a slow duster

there was a 1.3m trade at close on Bovespa, over £750k, which was blue on the Hrp thread chart, and now it's red.....and

courtesy of corzine on the Trp thread...???? ;-)

Check out the trades for HRT today. Weird!

At 21:06 for one whole minute only!!! The bid price was 3.00p!!! / offer price 1.95??? 2 x trades of 500k and 590k at 2.00p showing as sells??When obviously they were buys!! How the hell does that happen? Anyways, news soon no doubt, hold on to your hats lol! GL!

Hedge...

A further sign is the lack of farm in partner for the 4th well..

The talks have meant to be ongoing for months and yet nothing has been agreed...

The current drill has multiple prospects, surely they will find something ?

Dead Dodo and Duster - 3D has a lot to answer for....if Oil had been found they would have been shouting it from the rooftops. The tight hole policy is there to protect HRT so they can formulate a way of saying 'no commercial oil' and sounding positive at the presidential palace with knowledgekatti in tow...

I agree Nigel - Mauritania....

MM..

You are very hopeful, i just hope you are right..

Just seems all too quiet to me, when its quiet it usually means nothing substantial has been found..

HRT need a find bigtime, so i hope it works out for them and us..

As i have said before, we will have a far better chance with Tullow who start their campaign in a few weeks time.. They have a discovery record of 70% which is very impressive..

OFFSHORE NAMIBIA: Upcoming well results from HRT Murcombe, its second well in PEL23, provide some near term newsflow. The well spud on 2nd June and is expected to take 72 days, suggesting first news could be in the second week of August. Results of the first well, Wingat-1 (also in PEL 23), were announced on 21st May. The well encountered good quality light oil (light 38o to 42o API) but the reservoir was found to be much less developed than envisaged and hence uncommercial.

The well did encounter two well-developed source rocks and several thin-bedded-sandy oil-saturated reservoirs. Murcombe-1 will test a 1,000km2 basin floor fan on a four way dip closer at the highest structural elevation within the Barremian-aged complex with a shallower objective in the Santonian-aged channel complex. This news will be eagerly awaited by the sub sector, particularly Tower Resources (TRP.l, BUY) (a block-but-one north) that recently announced a February 2013 target spud for its well Welwitschia-1 on its world-class Delta prospect and Serica Energy (Serica, SQZ.L, BUY, PT under Review) in the Luderitz Basin to the south where it is awaiting a drill or drop decision by BP in H213.

Well, the HRT Stockhouse comments board hasn't been too negative ? I agree there is lots of spec. going on, however, it is only unfounded spec. at this time. I did read the result is due now in the second week of August ~ from that board ~ so, if correct, we still have a little time to go.

All the boards are very quiet, in the meantime HRT goes down and down everyday..

I think we take it that this drill is a duster...

It will be Tullow that will get the share price moving..

Looks like an accumulator is in there....slowly building up...usually 25k - multiple throughout the day - in whole or split....taking his/her time. If Sellers just held back for a bit they could push him to up his bid...

I thought C10B was hilarious with his Mojito antics :-) however he has been topped by CEOBOB who seems adamant that one Gordon bottomley is related to Larry Bottomley ...errr ... And they look similar ... And then proceeded to build a new wild conspiracy around it LMFAO.... Hilarious... Bob - make sure your starting point is correct first!

Week Ahead (15/07/13)

View from the trading desk

Oil & Gas: This week we look ahead to events in two very distinct hydrocarbon frontiers; shale in the Polish Baltic Basin and deep water exploration offshore Namibia.

Our problem in Brasil is named Eike Batista, OGX's main shareholder.

With no news yet in Namibia and OGX sinking, the only possible way to HRT is well known to everybody, just like yesterday...

Bovespa continues to fall in Brazil due to total loss of confidence in Dilma Rouseff government:

Eike Batistas EBX/OGX and "x" companies are in freefall as he attempts to restructure debt.

HRT share price is strongly linked to X companies share performance as they are both traded as risk plays by a largely institutional share base in Brazil:

Yesterday, OGX fell 18% and traders with CS,JPM ITAU... covered their book exposure on X companies by selling off HRT.

Local boards say volumes too low for a leak on Boabab or Murombe although there is a feeling that HRT must know the interim findings on Boabab by this stage:

Jrbil spoke to Investor Relations who indicated there were several announcements on the way.

Maybe its all just more mojito talk!!

Yes about 5m shares traded. Highish but not high enough for a news leak. Timing is wrong also for a news leak.
