Good move on HRT and feel volume too low for what we are all looking for. Its also a tad early. Something similar next week with over 25m shares traded daily on the other hand .......

Their is another number on gold which hit my workings out and its 1243, which it hit this am their is a chance that could be the bottom, the workings out start at a gold price of 42.6 and not 35, i wont go into the calc as it will take me a bit to type them out, best time to buy gold will be Friday, Thats if my cycle count is correct,

Luanda - A Memorandum of Understanding in the cooperation domains on oil and gas between Angola and Namibia will be signed in Windhoek on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The MoU will be signed by the Angolan Oil Minister, José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos and Namibian Minister of Mining and Energy, Isak Katali.

Angop learnt at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro International Airport", the Oil minister left the capital city of Angola this Monday morning for Namibia in order to participate in the referred ceremony.

The accord aims at establishing an institutional Framework between the two parties, to facilitate and reinforce the bilateral cooperation in the oil and natural gas sector basing on win-win benefits, developing such cooperation in several fields.

Namibia: Seminar Explores the Basics of Oil and Gas

IN anticipation of the imminent discovery of commercially viable quantities of oil in Namibia the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, together with the logistical assistance of Serica Energy Plc, yesterday hosted a first of its kind seminar in Namibia.

The seminar, themed 'Oil and Gas: The Basics' was aimed at people working in the oil and gas and related industries who would benefit from a better understanding of the key elements that make up oil and gas projects. According to Namcor's Managing Director, Obeth Kandjoze, the company hosted the event in order to provide information and education to non-specialist staff in Namibia who are interested in the oil and gas industry. Kandjoze said the seminar is particularly relevant considering the current oil and gas activities in the country and the recent oil discovery announcement by HRT and is an ideal platform to share the significant impact that this industry could have on Namibia in the event of a commercially viable discovery.

Hrt Participacoes Em Petroleo PT Lowered to C$20.00 (HRP)

Hrt Participacoes Em Petroleo (CVE: HRP) had its price target cut by Howard Weil from C$24.00 to C$20.00 in a research note issued to investors on Wednesday, AnalystRatingsNetwork reports. The firm currently has a sector perform rating on the stock.

Several other analysts have also recently commented on the stock. Analysts at Salman Partners upgraded shares of Hrt Participacoes Em Petroleo from a sell rating to a speculative buy rating in a research note to investors on Wednesday, May 22nd. They now have a C$1.25 price target on the stock, up previously from C$0.80.

HRT / CHAR oversold


Oil startup HRT dropped 22% to BRL2.55 after saying that the oil found at its Wingat well wasn't of commercial volume, and its HRT-11 well in the Solimoes basin--a tributary of the Amazon--was declared dry. The company, which has had a recent management shake-up, said it still plans to drill two wells off the shore of Namibia this year and sell its stake in West African blocks to fund additional wells.

"After the 11th well in the Solimoes basin and the first one in Namibia, little comfort can investors get from HRT well results," Credit Suisse analyst Emerson Leite wrote in a note.

Mr. Leite noted that the stock may not fall much lower, with a floor for shares at around BRL2.50 each.
